In This video I show you how to put the motor and transmission back in the Suburban. It is time to see if the vvt and dod delete are going to work. We spent a lot of time putting this engine together and in this video we install several more new parts. A new water pump, Longtube headers, New intake gaskets, new spark plugs, etc. Lots of new stuff has went on this little 5.3. It is time to see if it will fire up. After getting the engine in with new mounts we double check all of our connections to make sure all is good. This is really not a bad job but is time consuming and does take a few extra tools to get it accomplished. I still think I like to work on the motors out of the vehicles. It makes it so much easier to clean parts and install without bending over the fender. We have more to come on this install but wanted to hear it run for the installation video. I have my Lc9 ls engine, and I don't have the harness nor the computer. I want to go stage 2 cam with stronger springs. I'm deleting the dod in it and swapping it in a Caprice. My question is where could I purchase the correct harness and computer already tuned for the same sensors and injectors?

Your goals for your truck are exactly what I’m trying to achieve in my 2012 gmc sierra. I picked up my truck 2 years ago and thought I was getting a dependable truck. Based on the history I had with my 2004 gmc Sierra I had no idea GM started doing AFM DOD on the newer models. Well now I know and have been seriously stressing about it. Currently my pickup has no issues at all run great. But from everything I have read and watched on KZbin about these trucks. A collapsed lifter is bound to happen eventually. And all I want is a dependable truck. When I picked it up it only had 97k on it and I probably way over paid for it to begin with. But it was clean and i couldn’t find anything else at that time 2021 right in the middle of Covid.

Did a dod delete on my Tahoe have low oil pressure have a new pick up tube and high volume oil pump new cam new gaskets new valley plate with block offs
