After dealing with the stock radio in my lowered tahoe since buying it was time for an upgrade. I have also been wanting to install a backup camera to help when backing up at night. I always tint my windows really dark and backing up at night is a pain. In this video we address all of those issues. I am installing a touch screen double din JVC radio, a back up camera and I show you all the parts I use and how it all works.

Great video. I just got the same camera. I did notice that it covered up the Missouri on the plate. This has got me thinking maybe flip the frame with the camera on the bottom of course you would have to flip the camera also or I might cut the frame and have camera with the 2 bolt holes left. Hate to do it but then I could mount it to the top of my existing frame or mount it to the bottom bolt holes and cover up the Land of Lincoln which is not a problem. 07 F150 stepside.

I drilled a small hole where the tail light goes and put a rubber ground on it and it was very easy access.. I understand you don't want to drill holes and I get that.

Thanks for sharing a great video, my only gripe would be that you spent so much attention to detail behind the dash and left the crappy T-taps (scotch locks) behind the taillight. Maybe it's just because I live in the rust belt and drive a plow and know how much calcium and road salt gets dropped. I would solder and heat shrink those wires too. No criticism, just suggestion.

My 05 Tahoe has a single din JVC stereo in it, that the previous owner installed. I hate the constant red flashing lights, and can't even find the clock time. If I buy another single din( with blue lighting), will it be easy to install since single din is already there? I know nothing about changing out stereos. Thanks buddy.
