Thank you for your expertise and clear demonstration of how to approach and master this vocal quality! Much appreciated!

This is helpful to know this term and have an exercise for it. This didn’t go to the very high notes so I was still able to belt, I think, to the top note. I’m trying to explore how famous singers hit such high notes seemingly in belt- are they using twang? Do you have any videos where you go to higher notes than this? I’ve watched two of your belt/singing high videos. And thank you for doing this ❤️ You have a beautiful singing voice!

This was great, really helped me to understand twang anatomically and how to use it, thank you!!

This is the best vid for explaining this I've come across yet. Someone mentioned I had some twang, but wasn't sure what they meant, so your examples were great.

The twang is underrated I never knew what it was called... I've always asked what is that thing that the Dixie Chicks have I don't know what it's called

Great video! If twang gives volume and makes it easier to sing effortlessly, then shouldn't we put pressure on some abdominal muscles?

You're a great teacher and I enjoy your videos. But be aware that twang doesn't have any sound from the nose. Twang may sound as it's coming from the nose, but it's actually coming from the mouth. And remember, no air should pass from the nose when singing 😊

Hello! and thank you! But, i didn`t said that twang is coming from nose. I just gave the exercise that needs your soft palate to be "down" to make it easier to "switch on" and feel that narrowing of aryepiglottic folds. AND by the way, you can make it nasal by lowering down your soft palate to soften the sound, and you can do it oral with lifted palate.

Do you have a video to explain how to get from the exercises to adding this into songs? I struggle with different vowel sounds in real words.

Everybody uses twang more or less:) it’s just a tool to make sound more or less brighter
