Nah. You only need 2 rear view mirror legally. So the wing mirror both count as rear vision mirrors, which makes it legal. You can have one wing mirror & the windscreen rear vision mirror and be legal aswell in NZ.

You're not supposed to have anything that may partially obstruct the driver's view - no cracks in the windscreen, no extra stickers, no fluffy dice hanging (!) or anything like that. Enforcement is at the discretion of the officer, but you definitely can get a ticket for it.

Worked with a guy who learned to drive on the left, the spent years in the US, moved to NZ , got used to driving on the left again. Went on holiday to Samoa when they'd just changed to left side driving. Rented a car, it was right hand drive😅 after an hour he returned the car and hired a local to drive him around

Also NZ is such a healthy farming country like all our beef is grass raised on strict limitations compared to USA, no hormones, pasture range, free range, better than USDA organic. We have some of the best meat quality in the world. Chicken, pork, seafood included. All our breads, cereals everything has less sugar than USA as well we just have a lot of healthier options but with that said being such a small population with limited businesses you will find we do have probably a more boring range of options at the supermarket and even with restaurants compared to USA

In New Zealand, you only need two working mirrors, so as long as the right wing mirror on the driver's side and either the rear view mirror or the other wing mirror, you won't get stopped
