I don't know why anyone would say that you HAVE to watch this show because of a tie in to the other spin offs. Sure it adds a bit of insight but nothing you wouldn't pick up from just watching the other shows.

I know you are excited for "The Ones Who Live", but don't forget the wonderful first seasons of "Dead City" and "Daryl Dixon". "The World Beyond" was the weakest link to the franchise, followed by "Tales of the Walking Dead". There were only six episodes of Tales, but two were excellent (each episode had a different story/cast). "Fear the Walking Dead" for me, was the most frustrating. Sometimes, quite good and then it just fell apart in the final seasons (poor writing). I suspect we'll get either another Walking Dead spinoff or that "The Ones Who Live" will include TWD cast to continue the storyline and maybe even include a melding of all the spinoffs. I hope I didn't give away too much. I'm enjoying your reactions. Keep up the good work!

I agree that Daryl Dixon was wonderful but so was World Beyond. I’m assuming you didn’t like World Beyond which is quite peculiar to me that we can see Daryl Dixon the same way but not World Beyond. I thought World Beyond was fantastic.

@@hippielady123 I thought the main show was good enough but I don’t think it was “greatest show of all time good” like how some TWD fans think. I also thought there was a lot of inconsistent times between good and bad in the main show. But Daryl was definitely one of my favorite characters. The people who don’t like World Beyond are usually also people who like the main show a lot more than I did as well so maybe that could be something to do with it.

@@hippielady123 It really is an age thing.... I am the age of the majority of the main cast of TWD. I can relate more to them.... loosing a child, having a child shot, marriage problems, the long term childhood friend etc etc... I could easily put myself in their shoes. With TWB, I can't relate to these characters, maybe when I was much younger but there is nothing that connects me to them, even though I like them all. As a parent I look at these girls wanting to go 'save' their dad and think it is absurd for them to think they can even do anything about it and would kill my kids if they tried to come rescue me in that situation. But I know that when I was a teenager I probably wouldn't have thought anything about it, I would be like YA go get your dad.
