At 27:11 If you slow the footage down you can probably see better that for some reason the blue shell goes for the guy right behind Troy and not Troy because if you look on the mini map it showed the guy behind Troy got hit when the blue shell struck

the blue shell went for troy, but since that last boost panel actually allows you to dodge it, he wasn't affected. the guy behind him was in the blast radius (maybe even was hit coincidentally by something else)

5:51 I think the cycle is different because the moving objects in the game are already moving before the countdown starts. However I think this might be wrong since it MK8 when you do Bowser's Castle online the gate only begins to open when the countdown starts so idk might be different.

I'm a modder and in MKW the objects do move before countdown, however when playing online they won't move. Different from MKW, MK8 objects has a setting in the objflow.byaml file that every object has a thing called MoveBeforeSync="true" or false. The BC gate in MK8 os set to false, as soon as countdown starts, it actives. The gate has a timer, so it'll go down during countdown

I think what happend on dry dry ruins with the blue is the boostmakes you go about the speed you'd go if you boosted with a mushroom and since you dodge a blue with a mushroom you can with a boost panel maybe

Hey Troy, I have a concept for a video idea that I think would be pretty cool. You select 11 other players from discord or something, and put them in a private room. The person to finish last gets eliminated until there is a winner at the very end. I figure the only problems would be if you were eliminated early and wouldn’t make a good video, or if one of the racers would refuse to be eliminated.

How can you still play online on this? Are you running it on an emulator or the actual Wii console?

I don't know if online play would even work on emulator... Basically, custom servers. The Wii community is very dedicated and literally created their own Wii server thing called Wiimifi which still works after Nintendo stopped supporting their WiFi network. Because Nintendo don't have control over it anyone can play if the correct mods are downloaded. Certain mods are game modes like 200cc which aren't in the base game, so this is way better than wii servers
