as much as I like this new ruleset and the tournament series in general, I loved the old one where the vehicle is the one getting locked. There was a charm to it and man those last days with funky vehicles were the best part of it, who knows, some might argue this or that expresses skill better, still I loved the old kos ruleset

This day was awesome!! I'm so happy Roxie finally won after getting defeated by etterbeer in so many final rounds, she really deserved it! I knew she would pull it off this episode since she is good with goofy vehicles. Also I'm very happy for brodie, he always uses toad even when the room is full of flame runners funky kongs so he is always in disadvantage, seeing he getting a point is also fire!! Unfortunately Troy used baby daisy twice lol, besides that, great episode!! This knockout is serving a lot

I have nothing against Etterbeer by any means, I think he's a fantastic player. However, I do think him winning over and over shows the flaw of this "different character" format. It leaves less room for diversity in vehicles and in general for many people to have a chance at winning. If the "best" people can keep using the best vehicles, what's the point? The character stats don't change that nearly as much

The thing with the vehicle system is that losing early in every event for the last 4 days doesn't make for great content from Troy's perspective. Using a character system with vehicle twists every 2 or 3 days however, does make for better content. Personally i think the best cap to keep victor variance would be how many days u can participate in, and _certainly not_ reward consecutive wins with more entry attempts. All the best players will fight in the invitational in the end, though some people like the rival dynamic of Etterbeer and Rocksea this season, or just legacy players in general.
