The job one is all too real…I’m 15 trying to find a job to learn responsibility and earn some money. I applied for Wendy’s and Menards bc they both said they were hiring. One of the things that can make it hard to get a job is some have a certain number of years of experience listed as one of the requirements. So if someone doesn't have at least that number of years of experience they can't even apply for the position. I can understand having such requirements for certain types of jobs or positions (for example a managerial postion), but for others it doesn't make sense. I think this requirement is something that makes it hard for people to get a first job or to find a job even when they have had a job before. I think there are certain types of places where someone can get hired without previous experience (grocery stores, retail store, fast food, other restaurants, sit down restaurants with waitstaff), but I think it should be more places than that. By other restaurants/food places I mean places that aren't fast food, but don't have waitstaff.
