My south node is on 29 degrees Leo. My Mercury at 28º Taurus almost 29º. I've always been painfully shy. I found that 0 degrees of any sign represents a karmic challenge to initiate something on this lifetime while 29 degrees of any sign represents something you'll be challenged to dismiss or put an end to at this reincarnation, the issue at hand has to be resolved in this lifetime. If a north node is at 29 degrees, it may well represent the last incarnation or at least the last opportunity on a certain issue pertaining house, sign and aspects. They are not easy degrees and I have observed on some charts produce rather peculiar individuals.

I have some other factors afflicting mars and mercury ruling my eighth and have chronic fatigue syndrome and dysautonomia for nine years now. I’m also excruciatingly shy and ‘peculiar’ in a lot of ways. My boyfriends mothers sun was 29 degrees scorpio, she was a holocaust survivor and endured so much suffering, though was also an amazing person with unusual perseverance and way about her.

It is not clear or proven if fixed star affect certain degrees (not just 29). So I won't want to mix them together without thorough understanding. Many sites provided position (sign and degree) of the fixed stars. There is also orb based on the magnitude of the star. According to Avelar a & Ribeiro, the orb of 1st Magnitude (Mag) = 7degree 30 minute and so on. Then there is Parans discussed extensively by Bernadette relating to heliacal rising and setting stars in one's birth chart. There is so much unknown...

At 29.34 of Gemini, I agree that I'm definitely not a Cancer - this placement has also created an interesting 'in element' quincunx with my 1 degree Aq moon - perhaps softened the irritation? That 29 degree Sun, however does lie in direct opposition to the Galactic Center, and while Betelgeuse is associated with it, I'm not really sure how strong an influence it creates - I do feel that being on the angular edge and at a Earth/Solar extreme does create a sort of 'far out' point of view.

My ASC 28°32' Aquarius. I use Equal House (several years), so all my Cusps are 29°. When the Total Solar Eclipse happened (at 98% totality) August 21, 2017 at 28°53' Leo on my 7th House Cusp. Granted, there were other Transits, like TR Jupiter Conjuncted my Natal Moon, but I had turned my back on Astrology. I had lost my Ephemeris and interest. I was not on the internet, so I ordered a new Ephemeris and began my studies again. Months later I got on the "Matrix" and opened up my spiritual journey that had been solitary since the 80's. I still can't stop learning. I actually "felt" the Sun and Moon and witnessed the Crescents of light everywhere and it felt like what Heaven is like for about 20 minutes, I will never forget! Black Moon Lilith (mean) in the 1st house at 29 degrees Taurus opposing Pluto in the 7th house at 29 degrees Scorpio. I reckon there has to be some sort of significance to these placements/aspect. I resonate with what I intuitively think these energies might entail, in my own experience so far. I do have the libra traits with this degree fair thinking and all that. i actually like this placement is not bad dont have much problems with decesions and all that negative things about this degree so yeah i dont think 29 degree is al that bad its like cusp. dont worry.
