As many TOP you have reacted to, I was super surprised you hadn’t already done this one. As far as reactors go, this is often the first one they react to and fall down the rabbit hole. ✌🏻

This is THE song that started me down the Twenty One Pilots' rabbit hole. This song spoke to me, because music was always my escape -- still is. In this song, I like to think the audience is putting their car radio (Tyler) back on stage. You'll also notice that TOP songs often use cars and roads symbolically in many of their videos.

Same for me too. This song showed up as a recommendation. I’ve been a fan ever since.

My depression, anxiety and ADHD have kept me in a cycle of negative thinking, and this was the first song that truly felt like someone understood. I use sound and distraction as a way to cope with my short term attention span because it allows me to focus instead of spiral, and the speed he says it all is the way my brain works. This song is my mind in 4 minutes and it’s why I am in love with this bands music.

As per usual, Tyler's pen on this one runs pretty deep. The car radio is a metaphor with multiple meanings, largely referencing how we choose to deal with our own struggles in life. Every aspect of this one has meaning, right down to the visuals. Juxtapose that trust fall at the end with the trust 'crawl' Tyler does across the crowd. When he's in the music and with the fans, we help lift him up and guide him to the stage, literally. But when left alone with his/our own thoughts, well, sometimes it feels like there's no one there to catch us. Also, Tyler actually did have his car radio stolen, hence the inspiration for this song. More about his car radio is revealed in Levitate off the Trench album. Love that you two are continuing your TOP journey, there's just so much to love about this band!! ❤️|-/ ❤

Man these songs take me back to my 6th and 7th grade of school. Nobody had listened to them like this. Then heathens was on suicide squad and stressed out blew up and started popping up on the radio. Feels like forever ago

This is a very important song to most of the fanbase and understanding it helps understand the rest of the music - and you guys got it in Levitate he raps really fast something like "i got back what i once bought in that slot, i won't need to replace" -this is right after escaping Dema where he's saying he doesn't need the Car Radio anymore as he thinks he has everything straightened out (then again he gets captured at the very end and goes back)
