I think you missed that the older brother disappeared at the end - the younger brother basically made this guy up in his mind to help give him the courage to get through everything after his mom's death - you got the meaning of the song but the video had that little twist at the end I'm not sure what you've done but I'd recommend Car Radio Lane Boy Ode to Sleep Migraine Ride

Twenty one pilots are still together in fact they're on tour promoting their new album Scaled and icy (short for scaled back and isolated). All twenty one pilots songs have deep meaning, Tyler Joseph the Singer, rapper, songwriter, writes the lyrics, Composes the music, creates the beats, plays piano, keyboard, synthesizer, bass, drums, guitar, accordion, ukulele, and other percussion instruments as well as produces almost all their stuff has a distain for most mainstream music. He hates the fact that there's no substance to most songs nowadays. It's just the two of them Tyler Joseph singer and Josh Dun drummer. Something you will start noticing if you continue your twenty one pilots experience is one they don't have a single bad song matter of fact they're the only musicians in history to have every single song on their entire Trench album go at least gold. No artist has ever done that before. Tyler Joseph struggles with mental illness (depression anxiety self harm and suicidal thoughts) so much of their music touches on that. Tyler and Josh are both Christians as well and so you'll notice a lot of spiritual and religious undertones. However the way Tyler writes his lyrics insures that if you're not a Christian you'll still find meaning in the words. Im a Christian myself and have a lot of respect for these guys. They saved my life and thousands of others as well with their music. I really really hope you continue your journey you won't regret it I promise. God bless you 🙏❤️🙏

21 Pilots is a duo (Tyler sings, plays the keys and bass and Josh is on the drums) and they r still an active band. They r phenomenal musically, lyrically and live performers!!!!

BIG MISSED PART: You only see it in the end of the video... there aren't 2 of them in reality. When his mom died or whatever, he IMAGINED that he had a brother. It was really all just him though. The clips at the end show him "reenacting" what he and his brother did, with the bird, with the fence & with the skeleton costume. But it wasn't a reinaction, it was how it really happened. He wasn't picked on bc they were just asshole jocks, he was picked on bc he was weird. He was weird bc his mom died & his dad became a drunk. To complete the point, when he drags his brother inside at the end, there are 2 of them outside the door, but upon entering the house, there's only 1. Awesome reaction though, I'll watch you again. Just subscribed.

love the motivational quotes you share and how positive your whole channel is man! tyler wrote this song after his first niece was born and he was feeling super proud a and protective of his family. The verse about people in your driveway was inspired by a story about his cousins where one of them knew karate and defended their brother against a rival school football team that turned up at their house after he mouthed them off. He said he knows his hands are to soft to punch anyone so he would need a bat to defend his family 🤣 different to the story in the video but interesting to know how it originated.

This is definitely one of my favorite songs from trench the album It basically sounds like a really good and deep rock song to me I mean it took me a couple weeks just to get the lyrics down when this first came out
