This is probably the most beautiful song Tyler has ever written. As always, the lyrics fit the show, but also go perfectly well with the Clancy storyline. It even seems that the start of The Line is what starts playing at the very end of the Paladin Strait video. And yeayyyy for the Cliquemas. I look forward to that!

He is not loosing. At the end of paladin strait he opened his eyes to nico, which means he's not scared of him anymore. He took out the rest of the bishops. And definitely he won't loose because it's the end of the lore.

I just binged the entire two seasons of the show in 2 days. Arcane is set in a dystopian steampunk city. The main characters are all flawed in some way, but they love each other fiercely. Even the bad guys have moments of redemption. I think that's the message of this song and the scene it appeared in. Tyler wrote it in tribute to his grandmother, who he had just watched pass away. She was mentioned in Navigating as well. Having seen the episodes (the song is in the 8th episode, but some of the video scenes were in the 9th episode) I cannot stop crying. It's a beautiful song for a beautiful storyline. Tyler's voice is perfect for this.

For me this comes immediately after paladin, like, in the video Nico starts choking Clancy, that's why he says he's body is on the line and that he sees the light but idk. It's really hard to tell exactly because the season isn't out yet, but if i had to guess it's about a character wich i won't spoil, who has some very otherworldly powers forcefully making him different somehow. Probably for a pretty tragic scene i think. Also i really recommend checking more arcane songs, they're all really good!

This song is absolutely STUNNING!!! Tyler's voice sounds so pure and delicate, like he's on the verge of tears the whole time, and this is honestly some of the best drumming i've heard from Josh yet. He's absolutely going off in the buildup section! This song is not lore-related (they probably would not overshadow the story they've been working on for almost ten years now, by handing part of it over to someone elses' IP), but I love how Tyler manages to equally tie the song to the show, and his own meaning. I absolutely can't wait for the music video, and I really do hope they get to play this song live in the future, because I bet it would be breathtaking to hear in an arena!

Sounds like it fits a scene cause it was written for one. TOP were fans of Season 1, and for Season 2 one of the music producers felt TOP would be perfect for it. How it works for Arcane is the animators send the music team layouts (basically storyboards, simple animatic) and a temp song to convey the vibe they wanna hit. Then the music team produces a song to hit that vibe, at least a basic version of one, sends it back over to make sure they hit the feelings the animators wanted, repeat if necessary. So for S2, the music team asked TOP if they'd do it, TOP said yes. The team sent over the layouts + temp song to TOP, Tyler wrote this and sent it back, it was perfect and they ran with it.

I'm autistic, so I'm rarely emotionally attached to anything, even more so, if its a fictional show. Only when I was a child ATLA got me and until today (24y), BUT Arcane has touched me 3 years ago with season 1, until last saturday and now even more, then when the show was still running, in a way I've rarely experienced. The way, the series encapsulates and shows these raw and real emotions in such a deeply political rooted conflict and makes you relate emotionally through vialys and the music is absolutely insane. Hats of to Riot Games and Fortiche and all Artists involved.
