I am so proud to be a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. I will always keep my promise to be a lifelong member until the day I die. I love my sweet AKA.

Proud to share in this beautiful legacy of Black women around the world. Having now watched the documentary in full, it was overall a compelling narration of *their* story minus a few fudging of the facts & dimming of lights 😜. 💙 "The first country that chartered an international chapter, was in Liberia led by Soror Anna E Cooper in 1958..." The above statement is incorrect, the country nor the sorority was the first...The *chapter* in Liberia was *their first* international chapter in AKA... *Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated remains the first Black Greek Letter organization to have started a chapter in Africa.* The Delta Iota Zeta chapter in Liberia in 1948

Thank you, as we are the organization who actually had the first centralized headquarters & NOT ZPB, it is agreed that "fudging facts" is something that shouldn't be done.

Beloved, it is a historical fact that our organization (Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated) was first in having centralized headquarters. Also as it was written in acronym: ZPB is not our organization, that would be Zeta Rho Beta. Sharing in this space respectfully because the accuracy of our brand (and the brand of all of our organizations), their histories, are so important especially for those who do not know and come across videos, clips, and comments that they then hold and share as Truth. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated created a centralized headquarters with the establishment of its incorporation in 1913. Our incorporation predates the arrival of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated by 7 years. We operated from a central office from that date. We opened a national office in 1949 to handle our ever-expanding membership but also to allow our professional staff and other non-members space within our building. In 1952, A.K.A. purchased a location and with renovations, the building remains debt-free. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated’s first executive Office was located at 1721 Worm Street. This was of course also her parent’s home where they continued to live after it was designated an executive office.
