I live in an apartment, and today I had a neighbor ask me if there was a kid staying with me. Skinwalkers are a part of Navajo culture/tride. Another commentor mentioned it briefly. I think (and I may be wrong as a white person myself) because it is actually apart of another cultures history/ part of their traditions, it can be inappropriate to use it as a monster in a video game.

I think part of it is also (as a white person I cannot confirm but this is what I have heard, please if any native/Navajo people see this please correct me) that saying the sk*nwalkers name also supposedly calls it to you, so saying it’s name is ill advised. I really appreciate Julen being sensitive to those issues. I’m still not sure why they couldn’t just name it the mimic mod
