Paji, I had a question: When that yogi in samadhi woke up and wanted amrit. Guru Arjan devji gave him the amrit. Then he passed away, liberated. My question is: is it the physical taking of amrit that set him free or did he live the sikhi way to get liberated? I'm just confused and would like to know. Waheguru.

+Nav Scheie Coaching Bhenji, in this story, its the actual Amrit that is getting Naam from the Guru, the ceremony has always been important. The way of life is given after someone surrenders their ego by taking Amrit.

I didn't understand the part where you said guru nanak dev ji is supreme. Chaarae jaagae chahu jugee Panchaaein aapae hoa. The fifth guru is guru Arjan Dev ji not guru nanak dev ji. So if Lord himself came as the fifth guru then that would make guru Arjan Dev ji supreme.Could you please help me out here? Also if the four gurus enlightened the four yugs. Who were the gurus? Because all the ten gurus came in kalyug, so how can they enlighten the previous yugs? Thanks.

When guru ship is passed down, the light inside guru Nanak (the light makes him ‘guru’ and is Naam) is passed to the next person so all the gurus have the same....soul basically. They have the same light, they are the same but it’s the physical appearance that is different. So all the gurus are guru Nanak. So Guru Arjan dev ji is the fifth Nanak.
