2:25 This part sounds so much better with the delayed instrumentals. The vocals take the spotlight and really lets them shine while the instrumentals remain more quiet to it's not clashing with the voices and creating too many sounds. The ending also reminds me of Feel Special's composition where there's a small instrumental part at the end to do a dance break. I feel the issue with many KPop songs nowadays is how much the instrumentals compete against the singers' voices. These delayed instrumental compositions really shows why.

I agree but tbh I think the original does a good enough job at that part with the vocals because the instrumentals still kind of sound quiet that it doesn’t clash. If u take feel special for example, at jihyos part, her voice is definitely clashing with the loud insteumentals while in moonlight sunrise, you can hear their voices clearly

I don't know. It works for some parts, but others the transition doesn't work. The weakest moments are the "I don't know how to say this, I hope this songs on your playlist" parts, I think. The continuation of music from the previous segment takes away the impact of that moment, which ironically is one of the bigger sections in the original version. But the quiet beat for Nayeon's moment really worked well, and the new version has an interesting build up for the chorus. That said, after you notice the trick, you're predicting it. I don't know how you'd do it, but picking and choosing the track delay at the kept moments would work better to solve some of those weird low moments. It's still an interesting concept though.
