Also, people might not be observant of this but when you hear many of the members’ voices are actually same on the track so you will be actually confuse if they are singing live or not cause it seems like they ate the cd for having same voice on the track. Might be the reason also is, jype did not actually have to do a lot of sound engineering since it might be risky to have different voice on live singing.

They can sing. I’ve seen concert videos where you can hear their live vocals. But I think the problem is we have never had a comeback stage like on inkigayo or mcountdown where you can hear live vocals. Maybe I’m wrong but you can really differentiate the parts where idols sing it live or just lip-sync with the background music. I don’t want to bring hate to twice or any group but this video of dreamcatchers “odd-eye” performance, you can clearly hear the live parts they sing.(not part of their fandom, not promoting them either). I wish Twice did that more often tbh. They’ve been encouraged by fans and their company to not sing live all the time and now during encores, they have no confidence.

I'm a ONCE and I agree at some parts of what you just said. I think it was the company's fault for not letting the girls get enough opportunities to showcase their talents. I mean, these girls can sing vvvv well. If you put the members on an another group, that member would definitely be the ace but JYP doesn't give them enough chance to show their natural talents. The only chance that they can get are the encores but people only sees the bad in it that's why they show what they got on vlives and concerts instead. If JYP would just give them a song that fits them and let the members do things in their own way (just like what they do on concerts), I honestly think that TWICE would be more recognized around the globe. I don't know if what I just said makes sense but I do hope you understand my point. 😁

Jype and Jyp himself has a lot of faults, specially with Momo’s parts and making her sing a certain way where she can only reach the note on the recorded version. But I do think if they challenged them selves more and get out of their comfort zone and sing some parts live during a comeback stage, it would really build their confidence to singing live more often. I think that’s why JYPE did it with ITZY, I’ve seen atleast 2-3 stages where you can hear them sing live? And they’ve gotten even better with their new release. Twice just needs to be given the chance to do that and a comfortable song for them to sing would definitely help! I just wish the members wouldn’t stay comfortable in just the lip-sync when it comes to cb stages yk. I also understand that Twice is one of the gg’s with the hardest choreos out there so singing well while moving around so much can be hard.
