Killing Voice has always been about singing live. People always questioned why Twice didn't participate in Killing Voice, but everyone seems to forget that they worked so hard. Luckily, here they are. And they all ate the songs live! I'm so proud of them. 🥰

some other fandoms were also questioning if this was live because it was THAT good but Dingo is basically THE vocal proving factor, EVERYTHING is live on this show which just goes to show how professional and seasoned idols Twice are that they can just pull off this quality of work comfortably. and also yes, the beginning of TT was the fanchant that they threw in there for fun lol

Their voice is very much live, you can actually compare it to the original and it sounds very different. You can also spot some mistakes and small breath here and there. There are some post production like mixing and stuff and reverb but nothing crazy. Also the most obvious sign to me is how Sana sounds in the earlier songs, she sounds more deep and not as cute like the recording

some ways you can tell this is live is that Jihyo actually messes up when shes singing Moonlight Sunrise when she says 'us' in her first verse you can see her face that she messed up lol. also Sana can make her voice very cutsy still but its a DISTINCT difference from back then to now, her voice has matured a lot and yes, as Mina has said 'Sana is Dangerous' XD

This is 100% live but there are post-production edits that are made to make it extra crisp. I doubt they alter it too much but what you hear are their live vocals. You can even hear changes in their tone, for example when Nayeon cups her hands around the mic, you can hear the change. It's 1000% live. Jihyo even fcks up a little bit during her verse in Moonlight Sunrise (32:31 mark) as she ran out of breath. She knew she messed up a tiny bit and smiled at the camera.

I was waiting for you to do this, I just watched you fangirling for 57:34 minutes and I enjoyed it 😂.. Sana is indeed dangerous for some people(mostly fangirl) and Jihyo became a vocalist for a reason 😬.. Fun fact : Their killing voice actually has a very long duration because they have lots of extraordinary songs and bsides, but they decided to cut some of them so that the duration wasn't too long. they also said on the bubble app that they hope to release part 2.. This isn't meant as a dig at you *AT ALL* but i find it so funny that no one ever questioned just how much work was done on other groups'/artists' Dingo runs. Like you said i think there's some mic stuff that comes with the territory but Dingo is considered to be pretty minimal with it (as in nothing over the top), hence the recording setting you also mentioned re:NCT's episode. It's also definitely live bc - among many other things indicating it - their little joke threw NY's timing off on Knock Knock, you can hear her be late and kinda rush when she starts it I personally didn't need the girls to go on Dingo to prove anything to anyone, i'm just glad they went so now ONCEs have an episode dedicated to them as well, an incredibly fun and sweet one at that ! ❤

To me it’s not a Twice issue, it’s a kpop issue in general (lots of people always talk about how Idols can’t sing). I guess it’s also hard to find live vocals without any kind of post production no matter how little it is, it’s an industry thing. Every single group I’ve heard on Dingo did amazing same goes for twice!! I was just blown away by how chill especially our two rappers were ☺️😂

@@LenaHasNoIntro It's a music industry thing tbf, some amount of vocal processing is kind of a given. Kpop stans have just gotten genuinely insane about this like this is just silly atp. And i'd argue it only got *this* bad - as in, obsessive and delusional - bc of one of the many wagons of the TWICE hate train lmao but we don't have to get into that! Yeah the rappers were on it. I don't know if i could put them into words but i love how they each have their own little tells and quirks when they sing (in terms of body language, but voice too obviously)

Candy is supposed to be a fan song since their lightstick is called Candybong! I feel like most people who listen to the song for the first time don't understand the meaning and misinterpret it, so I thought I'd leave a comment describing the meaning! The entire Formula of Love is a masterpiece! Almost every single song from Formula of Love has been performed live as well! I recommend listening to this album from Twice next! For lyric videos, I like the videos that show the line distribution as well as the lyrics because they are more accurate in saying who is singing. The line distribution + lyric videos by random_k seem to be the most accurate!
