@@correypeta they were in a personal moment where she had already planned to allow Edward to read her mind so it's kinda obvious that she would be thinking about their trajectory and everything they've been through together. besides, one thing they make clear since the first movie is that Bella always thinks about Edward, so this scene only makes it clearer that from the beginning she's always loved him and as she states to Jacob at the end of New Moon: "don't make me choose between you and him, because it's going to be him! it's always going to be him!".

My husband went to every midnight showing of these movies with me. They always came out near our anniversary. Yes, he laughed through all of them. I didn't mind. BUT in the scene where Carlisle lost his head, the theater erupted. The girl behind us jumped up and threw her popcorn, and it went everywhere, and he lost it. He was laughing so loud. I was nervous laughing with him, but still upset and kept saying, "This didn't happen in the book."

Even the book readers were surprised at the ending. The CGI baby was a problem for many reactors but she wasn't human so she would look different, plus her growth rate would make her look odd. One of the best reaction creators for these movies, Thanks.

22:27 idk if anyone else mentioned yet, but there’s an illustrated companion/guide to the books and movies that explains more of the lore. the vamps who have powers are ones that have a really specific/pronounced personality trait as a human. alice as a human was intuitive pretty much to the point of foresight, edward was really good at reading people, jasper was very charismatic to rise through army ranks young, jane and alec died in really painful circumstances, james was a skilled animal tracker and trapper.

Man im so happy to have experienced this journey with you guys! I remember being like 15, going to the city and catching the midnight release of this. The theatre was absolutely chaotic and so LOUD during *that* scene. Everyone was yelling, people were crying, and some people even left the theatre all together! Many have said it, but the big battle DOES NOT happen in the book. I saw this in theaters and it was a scene of pure chaos as a room of teenage girls were screaming and sobbing out of pure terror and confusion at the massacre taking place on screen...myself included. My dad had to physically restrain me in my seat because I kept trying to run out of my seat I guess ??? Yea, its been a fun ride boys!!!

was so relieved when i saw this in theatres that they added that fight scene. the book had the most anticlimactic end ever, it was like nothing happened at all lol. great reaction !

Jacob your theory was absolutely correct, since preteen-ish age Renesme was gonna be most of the movie, they cast that actress and then used her baby and childhood photos to cgi her face onto body acting doubles so she looks cohesive throughout the movie and then also have an “older” cgi face version of her to put on the future vision versions of renesme. (although I think we can all agree it would’ve been fine to just have different faces instead of …that😭). But the director also said he wanted the cgi faces so we could see expression in the baby’s face since renesme is supposed to be a super baby and obviously real babies can’t “act”
