Twilight Imperium: Hunter Plays Lazax Homebrew (Game 1)

After watching the game through the end, I've gotta say that I love this faction. It's very thematic which I'm all about. Their leader suite is spot on and the way they interact with the agenda phase is just great. I think their cruisers are awesome as they give this "great at taking, not so great at keeping" style of play that fits with their lore. I would much prefer making the cruisers a little more punchy then just replacing them with CheapDreads. Maybe they could roll for bombardment at the start of space combat, and assign any hits to the other players ships. Maybe that's how they interact with the mech they can carry after you upgrade them; it is a "targeting system" after all. Overall, the faction is great. Maybe the agent could use a slight nerf, as other people have pointed out. They can also just take Mecatol round one if they want to, as all they really need is either some cash for tech, or warfare. Which really makes sense, even if it is a little busted. The troop ability also feels a little bit out of place with the rest of their kit. I would love to give some feedback after I get to playtest them, but where could I send it?

In regards to the "custodians round 1" conversation... since they start with fleet logistics and a cruiser with capacity, can't they just get grav drive and take mecatol round 1? Seems like an extremely easy round 1 custodians unless i'm missing something

I know you were waiting to use minister of war for other reasons at the end but maybe you coulda helped in your win slaying efforts, either way great game by all very entertaining. Also Lazax are very good and fun.

Agent Option: What if you reworded the agent so that it could not be used on your own strategy card, it can only be used on other players' strategy cards? Still powerful, but does limit its power and your choice on what you can use it on.
