But not before I send a message Hoping someone will understand the real truth behind the inhibitor chips. I almost killed her but not before I restrain myself and told her to find fives. Ezra: What happened to fives. Rex: He died after he tried to kill The Chancellor . But he did manage to remove his inhibitor . But he didn’t live to explain the rest all we had to do is believe in the rumor which turned into true. But unfortunately Asoka managed to save me which costed a distraction. Kannen: What kind of distraction. Rex : She released maul in order to save me by killing all my brothers instead of overpowering them. Later she quickly remove my inhibitor chip and I was finally free from this programming. But we were unable to free the rest of them because we were already out numbered without an army. I try to reason with the rest of my brothers but they couldn’t fight back they were under control like slaves to Darth Sidious. After that we were too late the Jedi council were extinct and Anakin Skywalker was no Longer the friend we once knew But I do know someday like Maul & count dooku. Vader Will soon be deceived . Ezra: You mean betrayed by who. Rex: I’m not sure yet but there is a slight chance we can redeem him if it means no cost our lives. But the only way to do that is to prove that Darth Sidious is the Deceiver I traded to the entire galaxy that he once Concord. Sometimes I feel like the bad batch did help me escape instead of trying to hunt me down unlike crosshair. This hits _so_ differently after "Victory and Death". When their lives - the Republic, the Jedi, everything they'd known - fell apart, all they had was each other. Then they parted ways, but they did so knowing someone made it out, someone lived - survived, and _would_ live - and eventually, they reuinted. And here, Rex truly believes he's lost her. There's no words; just an exchange of looks and the fact that she didn't come back. She saved him when he needed it the most. But he wasn't there to do the same in return.

The only lose for the rebellion is Kanans eyesight, the empire lost 3 inquisitors, Darth Maul had nothing and left with nothing. Ahsoka didn't die since Ezra saved her in the world between worlds with guidance from Morai of course although they did miss out on her wisdom for several years. The Empire lost 3 inquisitors and Lord Vader limped away with a massive gash in his mask. Big L for the empire. No matter what Palpatine wins though because he doesn't care he's too busy enjoying being an evil bastard.

I teared up a bit at the end. I came from despising Ashoka at the beginning of Clone Wars to adoring her by the end. And to see her go out by Vader is just heart breaking. I know its ambiguous and they hint she is alive, but I hope that isn't the case. This was such a fitting end for her character in my opinion.

What makes this such an ending is that every party at the Sith temple lost: Rebels: lost Ashoka, Kanan lost his sight. Empire: Darth Vader lost his Padawon and what he believed was the last evidence of Anakin Skywalker, inquisitors’ deaths. Maul: Lost Ezra as apprentice, lost Sith holicron, couldn’t kill Vader, returned to having nothing.

+FloFX motɨoɴ desɨgɴ Or he has had a natural reaction to the grief of all he's lost and wants revenge like any sane human being would, this is the flaw of the Jedi, purging all emotion seems to like a sure path to eventually breaking down. Makes sense to me that a lot of Jedi would lose it after a while and turn to the dark side.
@Drendermen788 жыл бұрын
can we get ezra ve kannan,anikan vs obi-wan style? :v
@davidhoneycutt56308 жыл бұрын
+Lewis Carlin If you think about it, its nearly impossible for any Jedi to purge all emotion. Other than Yoda and minor Jedi characters we have seen, I couldn't tell you of one Jedi who didn't let their emotions "assist them" in a fight. We saw many examples of Anakin's rage, Luke exhibited rage in both his duels with Vader, We saw Obi-Wan's rage in his first fight with Maul in Episode I as well as after Satine was killed by Darth Maul. I really think that to be a successful force wielder, every Jedi needs to channel the dark side in some fashion. This may even by why Yoda sent Ezra to Malachor in the first place. After Yoda's duel with the Emperor, I think even he realized the right amount of rage is a good ally to the Jedi against the dark side. I have a theory that "balance in the force" doesn't mean a complete destruction of the dark side. Instead what you have is the light side of the force with flashes of the dark side.

This still gives me the same feelings for back when I first experienced this as a 10 almost 11 year old, 7 years ago. Rebels is such a good show and it gets so much flack because it’s in-tuned for a much younger audience and that the Rebels just "win way too much". But THIS ending here really solidified my love for Star Wars as a 10 year old all those years ago. A tragic version of Ahsoka’s theme, the Sunset, Rex’s face, Hera embracing Kanan and Kanan embracing Ezra, Vader limping out of the Temple, god this show will always have a special place in my heart.
