Okay, I have to admit that I'm not a huge fan of analysts and reviewers of the show. Most of the time, they over-think things or they aren't completely accurate with what they say. There is only one reviewer/analyst (from those I've seen) I can tolerate (Camgoespony). That has since changed with this video. I actually enjoyed your review of the episode and what you said made a lot of sense. I don't follow reviewers/analysts, so I'm not subscribing. But I'm letting you know that you're doing this the right way and I hope you continue it throughout the future seasons.

Golden, I felt the same of your ending speech (your afterthoughts that is). It was about the last moments of the speech: "We are dysfunctional. Season 4 is over, what is next?,,," That was tacked on in a wonderful final speech about the overview of the analysts's place in the Bronies' eyes. So yeah, only one fault in a great review. You know it baby. The thing that attracted my to be a part of this fandom and not just a fan of the show was both the stories, then later witnessing first hand, what could be accomplished when people come together with positive energy and a common goal. While many in this fandom strive to leave their mark, it's the collaborated works that draw the biggest attention while still only showing a glimpse of this community's true potential. This is why I love staffing at conventions and keeping tabs on the analyst/reviewer community. I'm always willing to lend a helping hoof to those that need it, even it's just some encouraging words. Even as we wait for season 5, there is still much to be said and done. Not simply reflecting back on what was while speculating what's to be, but using a look at what's happening now and soon in the world of MLP and our communities.

O_O....That last part, as you talk about season four as a whole and your highlights of the other reviewers. I'm just blown away dear you you have my respect. I feel you all are a family and even as you guys have times you disagree I've seen moments you act so harmoniously that you give a true example of what MLP is meant to inspire. I've seen reviewers drift apart and I've seen them even begin romantic relationships with one another and yet through it all you all stay together. You are a part of a fandom but some how some way became something more. I admire that in all of you and hope you understand that what ever season 5 brings I feel you will all be amazing. Disagreements, flaws, and uncertainty can not break what you created together. Remember you are all friends and nothing could be more special than that. After all friendship is magic.

must say i greatly enjoyed your review of this having gone through many different reviewers points of view you all put so much great effort into it and i must say though yours is just amazing. A small note on the first musical with celestia anyone else notice she almost has a purr with certain lyrics. also when twilight points out each of the other princess's roles, luna nods in agreement but celestia just has this smug look of "yes, yes i am the lordess of the sun." just always struck me that small brief tinge of high pride she had there. Have to agree with you though both in how important discord was and that the rainbow looks are less then eye pleasing.

Besides the Celestia giving all the Alicorn magic to Twilight and Tirek finding out bit, I seem to be one of the few who didn't enjoy the fight scene. Or, that is, I enjoyed it the first time, but then all love I had for it vanished when Tirek basically said "screw it!" and bartered Twilight's friends, because it's not like he might as well have done so already! But all sarcasm aside, this is one of my main gripes with Meghan McCarthy's writing. Also, I'd like to share a headcanon: despite anything McCarthy or the other writers may say, Lord Tirek eats _energy,_ not magic. What good is giving an earth ponies magic if they can never even use it? As for pegasi, I thought they flew using their _wings,_ not magic. However, earth ponies still need energy to do their physical work, and pegasi still need energy to fly; Lord Tirek absorbs it-you do the math.

I was able to pull some context out of the ending speech, even if it wasn't what was originally intended -- that the next season is a year away and some fans/Brony analysis people are moving on. Not only that, Content ID could make it difficult for reviews to continue, though that's quite doubtful given the analysis community's ability to get over issues with it in the past. As for the review itself... wow. Seriously, wow. Effort, time, and definite love for the series shows. I'm sorry your first run through crashed, but this one's incredible.

What will S5 bring us next? If they brought an old icon like Tirek, then they could bring back a human in S5? But it would be another flash back, but it would be a LONG time ago. Like before the births of Celestia and Luna and probably before the foundation of Equestria itself and maybe hinting at a young unicorn of Starswirl the Bearded? Probably make it a prophecy or a legend that needs to fulfill, we could also see more back story history of the 3 kingdoms with Commander Hurricane, Princess Platinum and Puddinghead. And since it's a mythical show with Unicorns and Griffins they could also show more of Goblins and Trolls and Orcs and Ogres. We could also see more Dragons and Diamond Dogs having more character development and seeing more civilizations outside of Ponyville and Canterlot, like the Duke and Dutchess in episode 25. Just a thought.

Fox, you are an inspiration to me. I love your ending in this video. I hope that no matter what, even after MLP Ends and maybe a new part of it begins, I wanna say one that no is true. This season taught me so much more about friendship than I already know. But, I will admit, as season six is coming to an end, I'm scared. Will there be a seventh season? Will there be a new part of the series that we will meet within the fandom? Or will the community fall apart? Like you said Fox, we don't know. All we can do is wait and see. To me, the moment when Celestia told Twilight that she would take on her new task along with her friends was pretty reminiscent of when she first told Twilight to stay in Ponyville. I don't really have a problem with their giving up their magic to Twilight. Sure, Discord knows about her, but it's still the best bet they have. And as for the glass window, I think that's just the most interesting way for Tirek to find out about her.

I have to be totally honest with you right here. Outside of the review itself, I caught myself getting emotional at what you've said. I've watched the reviews you've made, the jokes, the collabs you've been a part of. As well as other from the analysis community. And I think every analysis video has made me want to make my own even though I'm pretty much a novice at it. This generation, this show has surprised me. I've looked at the previous generations and wrote them off as something not to watch because "I'm a dude and that's just too girly." But from the first season, I couldn't say that because they finally made something that made me say "You know what? I get it now." Just speaking with a bit of hope, maybe I'll be an official analysis by the time season 5 comes forth. But even if I'm not, I'll be watching to give my opinion on every episode I can. And your ending speech should not leave you embarrassed. You spoke from the heart. Nothing to be embarrassed about that.

I agree that season 4 was a lot better than it first seemed. A lot of the episodes were lighter fair, good but not great. And for whatever reasons, the bad seemed to stick out worse than normal. But the great was truly great, and the good but average far outweighed the truly awful. I'd say a season of mostly 3 and 4 star episodes, with a decent smattering of 5's thrown in is a pretty dang good season. Also, thanks for giving me a perspective on the finale that's more than just, "THE SPECTACLE WAS ASTOUNDING AND DISCORD WAS SOMETHING SPECIAL!" Because while that's all true and the episode is fantastic because of that, there were deeper things going on that I didn't see because of all the spectacle.

Get this Rainvow Rocks the spotlight isn't on Twilight but on sunset shimmer and may be Important to the season 5 plot just like season 4 needed Equestria girls. Do not skip Rainbow Rocks. there is a major piece of Equestria history there. yes more world bulding too. and a certain character is talked about again. as far as i'm say Equestria girls movies are part of the cannon. watch it. Watch it for a hint about the Real Elements of Harmony. and they aren't the gems.

I still don't get why some fans who thinks this is a poor end because it was fluttershy who showed discord friendship. I don't think that they don't understand that it was Twilight whom brought out the change in the others, Twilight wasn't doing much during the key episodes because she realized that she can't always help them after the Episode of Rarity takes Manehatten. Twilight in the middle of season 4 kind faded out to give room for others

You might not think it, but Tirek is a COWARD! Tirek has absorbed the power of many ponies in order to control Equestria. But I realized something: he is just hiding behind other ponies' powers because. Without them he is open to any attack. These ponies are a threat of him and he is weak if he can't take their powers. Tirek is a vunerable to the ponies and he can't be a threat unless he cowers behind powers that are not even his!

I can tell because i was on the verge of leaving this fandom after i watch the Season 3 finale, when it did came out, i felt like i wasn't being fair to that season either.
