aro views himself as the most strongest, superior, and powerful man in the world. and for that, he always believes he's in charge and everything goes according to his will. but for the first time in his long life, he wasn't in control of the outcome of that fight like all the other fights he predicted. he never even thought that the possibility of his death does actually exist. I think that's why he was terrified

I think Aro knew Marcus wanted to die. It was previously stated in the books that after Aro killed Marcus' wife and Marcus couldn't find out who did it he tried to kill himself. Aro used one of the guard members to bond Marcus to the Volturi so he wouldn't kill himself. That's why he's always so melancholy.

@@greyson7379 Aro killed his sister (Marcus's wife) Didyme because her and Marcus wanted to leave the Vultori and live happily elsewhere. Marcus has the ability to sense relationships in people and the strong and weak points of those relationships. Aro is all about having vampires with useful abilities, plus Marcus is one of the three leaders so him leaving would be too big a hit. Didyme also had an ability, the ability to make people happy. Aro didn't see that as useful, so to keep Marcus he killed her. Marcus, like any other vampire, wanted revenge for the murder of his mate but he didn't know who did it so he went into a withdrawn state. He wanted to die which Aro didn't foresee. To stop that from happening Aro had Chelsea use her ability on Marcus. Chelsea's ability allows her to control an individuals emotional ties. She can make them stronger, weaker, make them, or break them. She used her ability to strongly tie Marcus to the Vultori.

@@greyson7379 No. Marcus wife is Aros sister. Aro killed his sister or (Marcus wife), because they Marcus and his wife wanted to leave the Volturi and Aro didn’t want that.

The problem with the Volturi is that they were essentially stagnant, keeping vampires at their current level of society and deeply suspicious of change. Compare that to the Olympic Coven and their supporters, who were open to hybrids and living alongside shapeshifters, and prepared to accept humans as friends.

Great video! Aro is such an intriguing character. I'd love to see a whole movie series just on his life and the rise of the Volturi. I do feel like Alice's vision only spared the Cullens that day. Aro is not stupid - that vision gave him a blueprint on how to defeat them in the future. He will use that to his advantage at some point.

Alice saved them that day but she just helped the volturi to strengthen and reupgrade their group and let aro know which vampires should he recruit and target especially benjamin and zafrina endangering their peace

It was both brilliant & foolish. With showing Aro how powerful they could be they’ve taught him how to beat them. & like the said in the movie that’s something Aro can’t forgive. He will just do like Victoria & let someone else decide & take them by surprise & come in at the end or kill Bella & Edward 1st. As Bella should’ve Jane & Alec. But totally agree!

This was an Incredible Masterpiece Video for Aro. Even though Lucian from The Underworld Film Series will always be My All Time Favorite Role for Michael Sheen. But his Performance as Aro from The Twilight Saga was Truly Incredible making Aro a Very Entertaining and Terrifying Villain to Watch. He most definitely did but he most likely will go kill them first. Bella was too big of a threat especially against Jane and Alec as she directly countered their abilities and he knew they wouldn’t join him, his best option was to kill all the cullens starting with Bella and Edward then pardoning Alice and use Chelsea to make her stay.

Honestly.. they didn’t think about the fight through… they needed to get rid of major two players (Jane and Alec) Safrina could’ve blind both of them. They can’t use their powers if they can’t see. And they should’ve sent Kate to attack Jane while Bella protected her. And Edward should’ve went after Alec when he couldn’t see. With those two gone the fight is even. Then it leaves Kate just touching each person to weaken them letting the wolves take care of the rest.

The difference between the vulture and the Cullen and their allies is, Aro’s coven is created by force whereas the Cullens consider themselves a family and those “allies” as actual friends out of free will. Though I wouldn’t put it past Jane to Ally with Aro out of choice as she’s…. Well her. The vampires of the Volturi will ultimately betray each other if it means survival, except maybe Alec and Jane, it’s possible those 2, would defend each other.

in the books there was mentioned of one character who could break the bons between other and keep them together but didn't work on bella shield. my thoughts that past the point of aro dead and no leader that vampire would have run and without them the other wouldn't really have to much attachment to each other over their own lives. either way the volturi wouldn't stay stay together or seek revenge because 1 no leadership 2 no one to keep bonds intact 3 most vampire baise on the books only care for them self or their mates 4 they will remember what aro did and real happy about it with on one controling they emo

Cullens have to take out the Voltari now because they are a huge threat to their power. However once all the vampires know the Voltari were refused and sent home the Cullens will gain more vampires to their side. So the Voltari will send out assassins ti get rid of the most powerful of the Cullens group. Once that starts then it will all come down in war. They should make a final movie about that.
