These characters are awful, for sure. And yes, they are caricatures : the mom who just cares about herself while her dad is dying, the dad who had only his eyes on the money while the daughter had her eyes constantly on the mirror, and the son is stupid and dangerous, a bad mix. But the dying grandpa might be also a caricature : he's talking bad to his family, ok, but we can see that he also has a bad character with his doctor, and it's a pretty cruel game to play with them all.
You know you're dying, and you only want to spend time with these awful people, to punish them ? But at the same time, the smile he had on his face at the end proves that he died in peace, after saying the truth to all of them, being sure they won't enjoy his money so easily because he thinks they don't deserve it. The story is questioning the weird and bad subject of money into a family, heritages and hypocrisy around it, but also people who define themselves by their qualities when their defaults are more obvious.

Trivia: This episode was directed by Ida Lupino, who starred in the Season 1 episode, The Sixteen Millimeter Shrine, which makes her the only woman to direct a Twilight Zone episode and the only person to both star in an episode of The Twilight Zone and direct an episode of The Twilight Zone.

Happy to see another "Twilight Zone." Unfortunately, the ratings are not infallible. Sometimes the best episodes only have medium level ratings. Some episodes with high ratings are not that good. I don't know why. For example, I don't think this episode is particularly good. My very favorite episode is "Walking Distance" and no one on KZbin has ever reacted to it.

@@LauraReactions Well i love ur reactions, but due to the fact, that 2month ago you uploaded 3eps a week, and then short time before the end of the show you started to upload once every 2 weeks? that just makes no sense and really feels like ur trying to hold the viewers because you know that attack on titan reaches by far the biggest part of ur community. sry for me being paranoid, its just the excitement for new episodes and every week i see theres no aot on ur schedule. feels a bit disappointing.

@@tris273 Because two months ago, these shows that I mentioned were not out, so I had plenty of time to watch AOT and also to put it on my schedule. Now it's not the case and no, I'm not holding back anything, I'm just trying to please everyone, the ones of you who discovered me these last weeks with AOT but also the ones who subscribed to my channel months/years ago during the last seasons of Stranger Things, Westworld and The Boys.
