The weirdest part of this episode is that “trunk guy” is played by Bud Court who was Harold in Harold & Maude. He did very little else except this weird episode of 80s TZ and then he was God in a coma for the entirely of Dogma until he turned into Alanis Morrisette at the end.

@@ahatfulofreactions1414 It’s harder to spot him when he doesn’t look like an 8 foot tall 12 year old. But he has the same odd presence it just isn’t leaned into by the mediocre direction here. Imagine having Bud Court to center a TZ with and thinking - we need a lava lamp and a Dalmatian statue. BRING IN THE SMOKE MACHINE and every out of work extra standing outside! Story? We don’t need that - we have a trunk. The root beer makes more sense now.

Those darn Kids. "I Can't Remember" Sounds like an Episode about Amnesia. Oh The Trunk, does the trunk cause amnesia 😁? Oh Bud Cort is in this episode. He has one of those faces, He was the voice of Edgar in Electric Dreams. This was his only episode of 80s Twilight Zone. 😮‍💨, like you said, don't fall for it Willy. A nickle for every old piece of old luggage left in the Hotel. Yeah it seems to be a wishing trunk. a lot of nickles for a lot of luggage. Dream big or go home. More over, don't let them see the trunk. Well at least he thanked the trunk, but be careful Willy, she's tricking you to get the trunk. It's going to eat them. He wished not to be found. Oh The Trunk ate Willy. I wish I could find someone nice. Willy: Hi I'm Willy, and You are? He Probably wished for his Food, Water, and Bathroom, Hopefully it was only a day or 2. This episode came out after Reaganomics.

@@ahatfulofreactions1414 Yeah I like to think he wasn't trapped for to long before she wished him out. At least he was still alive, and he found a nice girl, + he thanked the trunk for the gifts, and sharing them, so he wasn't selfish.
