Still watch the Twilight Zone marathon around New Year's. "The Dummy" (which seems to have been the inspiration for the early Anthony Hopkins film "Magic") , "Living Doll" (Talking Tina) , and "To Serve Man" were some of my favorites...but I love 'em all. Brilliant series. Absolute classic. The more "modern" series didn't do it justice.

A great, quick way to review all episodes. Always find a few I missed. This is great for those who grew up watching, who still watch, and know the value of its concept. In 2020 pandemic, George Floyd, rising international tensions, it's amazing how TZ reflected mans fear of the unknown. Thanks for posting.

The thing I love is growing up and realizing how many actors I recognize in the various episodes, especially those who went on to have long, lucrative careers in film and television. This happens when I watch "The Rifleman" and "Bonanza" also, and I'm sure a lot of the other old shows. In these Twilight Zone clips alone we see William Shatner, Jack Klugman, Robert Redford, Burgess Meredith, Earl Holliman, Murray Hamilton, Russell Johnson, Jack Warden, Howard Duff, Dennis McCarthy, Roddy McDowell, Anne Francis, Bill Mumy, and a host of other big names and lesser-known character actors. I was also surprised to see how many episodes were taken from old-time radio shows and adapted specifically as Zone episodes.

Great video here. Best TV show of all time. I love every single episode from every season. Not one bad episode in my opinion. For me though, there will always be 157 episodes though, not 156. I also consider Rod Serling's _'The Time Element'_ as the "lost" 157th episode (which in reality, was supposed to be the original pilot episode of _'The Twilight Zone'_ ). So glad that _'The Time Element'_ is now being included in the Blu-Ray box sets of _'The Twilight Zone'. _*_'THE TWILIGHT ZONE' RULES..._*

Despite many people not knowing it, actor that made second most appearances on TZ is Robert McCord, who appeared in 31 episodes. He is second only to, of course, Rod Serling. As he was just an extra in all those episodes, he was never credited in closing credits.

There was an episode where an alien from outer space comes to earth carrying a book. He wanted to give it to the world as a gift but everyone thought he was evil. The end was a crowd of people set the book on fire: there was only a fragment left which said “This document contains a formula to cure all forms of cancer.”

Also, several TZ episodes are dramatized on mystery theater. Mr. Garrity and the graves, the Salvadore Ross story and An Occurrence at Owl Creek are ones I know of. They made 1499 shows and they are recordings from the 70s so some of have old commercials and news. Fred Gwynne was a frequent voice and even Sara Jessica Parker is in one when she was 9!

Me too. My all time favorite that I will watch any time is the one with that same lady, Gladys Cooper, in "Night Call". She's in "Passenger on the Lady Anne" too. Cool and classy lady. She had a very long career which was quite extraordinary. I also love "The Hitchhiker". Here's something for your sis to try out. A 70s era radio drama show called the CBS Radio Mystery Theater. They do have some of them for radio. I know they have them on the dvd collection. They are newer actors reading the scripts though. I don't know if you can find them anywhere online. Maybe google old time radio because there are lots of sites for radio dramas. Archive.org has almost everything ever made. The mystery theater has a site called CBSRMT dot com and mystery theater radio on here I think. The Onyx Eye is a good one on that show. They took some of sound effects & music from TZ. (cont)

+Tim Roof. You are all correct in this thread, what a novel KZbin experience. Earl Hamner's "Bewitchin' Pool" was the last made. "Occurence..." was a French indy film that Serling introduced and showed as a special episode. Extremely well done. An earlier adaptation of Occurence was done on Alfred Hitchcock Presents with American actors. True to the short story, but see the French one FIRST!!!! Then watch the Hitchcock Presents one to flesh out the story. After that look for "The Boarded Window" in short film form. Then maybe "Bartelby the Scribner" trust me.
