Power Ball of HELL, battling the Power, magnets, scoring over the psychological barrier of 300M on Lost In The Zone... I'll simply never forget that machine. My best score stands around 1.7 billion, I know that's quite small but at least I may call this a good achievement :-) And thanks to CaptainPinball for posting those pinball promos!

By far my favorite table, and i've been playing tables since the 70's. Nobody made them better than Bally/Williams! Wish i owned some real ones, but glad that Visual Pinball exists as a substitute.

I played this as a kid at Pt. Pleasant boardwalk NJ. A dynamic game, the ceramic ball is insane
@gplechuckiii13 жыл бұрын
There is a reason that this game is rated the most popular pinball game of all time. It was after this game came out that Williams had to make pinball games LESS awesome so that people would buy new tables. Apparently they had trouble getting repeat business. because customers didn't want new tables, they were happy with this one and the money it brought it.

Unless one already owns any Bally/Williams tables prior to the licensing being revoked from Farsight, they are no longer available for purchase. Bally/Williams pinball now on FX3 from Zen Studios.

I kinda destroyed it at this machine on Pinball Arcade, got to Lost in the Zone twice in one game and got 2,884,294,500 on that game. I know some people done better than me but I did pretty darn good for a kid. Takes a lot of practice

Fun Fact that's not actually Rod Serling it's someone from the design team doing a really decent impression. Apparently the cost to license the use of Rod's voice costed too much for Bally to shell out for it.

1:33 what game is this with all the balls going into that contraption?
@BWM1354 жыл бұрын
It's Twilight Zone, with what I'm guessing is an effect they set up for emphasis. My guess is it was done to emphasize the fact that TZ holds a whopping 6 pinballs (5 steel, 1 ceramic) that can all be in play at once, instead of the typical 4 (Usually 3 on the playfield max) that was common in WPC-era Bally/Williams machines. Hope that helps!

@BaarBear2 жыл бұрын
I love pinball dearly but don't really like Bally's Twilight Zone table. If you ask me it's too loaded with "toys" (as they call pinball field elements) and it's too easy for the ball to carom off a "toy" and drain without racking up many points.
