I’m not super familiar with the show but I remember an episode where aliens fake a crash landing and like, incept the knowledge that they could disguise themselves as people. The town goes crazy and they all start fighting eachother out of fear and the end of the episode is two aliens talking to eachother and they say something like “see? The humans aren’t ready to join us, they’re too violent and uncivilized” or something. I thought that was really cool.

@@thee20thdoctor18 Not quite. The aliens do nothing but shut off the electronics. The people do the rest. Sometimes the aliens will switch on the power to one house or another. It wasn't about joining them, it was an invasion. They just let the humans kill each other in a paranoid fit. Rod Sterling finishes the episode by commenting that such paranoia and distrust aren't isolated to the Twilight Zone.

Rod Serling’s masterpiece series was done proud. Lord knows he probably never knew what form media would take some 60 years in the future, let alone 30, but he really inspired so many people, from the parody “Scary Door” of Futurama fame to comedic and psychological horror mastermind Jordan Peale. Now we know he inspired Rift, too. If this gets future viewers to look into the classic series, then I say all the better for it.

I don't know if any fellow Rifter recognized this, but if anyone remembers from the Controller Man video, the client tried to offer a rubber chicken body and the Controller Man said he knows the person who has the head. And, lo and behold, in this video, the patient offered a rubber chicken head. Hopefully one day the great item will be restored to its whole glory.

this is one of the most memorable twilight zone episodes I've seen, along with the one of the prisoner on Mars sentenced to isolation with the robot wife, and the astronaut in training to see if he could stay sane by himself in space where he was stuck in a simulated town for two weeks but it was really just a few hours

I love the Twilight Zone, but the titles always slip my mind. Especially for the episodes I really like. Like the one where a career criminal who finds himself in a paradise or the guy who has the ability to know exactly what someone needs. I DO remember "He's Alive!" which was a banger of an episode. Some might consider it very topical in today's political climate.
