Her intonation is just perfect. I think she takes a very clean line to most of her interpretations. Some find fault in this, I have heard all of the finest violinists in the world live, and she is, at the very least, as good as anyone I have heard. At times, particularly playing Bach, I think she has no peer. She is also almost unbelievably gracious and friendly, offering autographs and sincere good wishes to anyone who is willing to wait after a concert. She is wonderful in many ways.

That last down bow is intense. Her violin is spectacular, any violin that can take that much pressure from a bow without crunching is spectacular.

As always, Hillary Hahn delights us with flawless technique, perfect intonation, gorgeous tone, exquisite sensibility and first rate musicality. What else could anyone possibly ask of a violinist? Thank you for sharing this.

Thanks for posting! Even Hilary says the original streamed video from the Danish TV site doesn't play well on some computers. A relaxed interview where she gets to be herself and we get to know her better! Thanks!

Hillary is just great. Pretty good recording too but how did you get the host to talk backwards? Just kidding, hello to all my Danish friends.

Hilary Hahn has got to be one of the coolest people on this planet. I suggest following her @violincase on Twitter. It's wicked (~_^)
