I suggest if you do video from the Grandstands take it closer to turn 1. Sit under the covered Grand Stand toward turn 1 Jeff The dust will be behind the cars and then you can follow them around into turn 2 and beyond.

I have only 1 question. How in the world do drivers NOT pass out in the heat with their rac'n suits on? I attended PA Speedweek from Grand View thru Williams Grove last week. Great weather. I loved the combined 410 Sprint and 358 modified show @ Grand View. The track was still perfect for the Modifieds running 2nd. Hats off to whoever groomed the surface. Absolute artists. How on earth did that clay stay so perfect? I was glad to see Ryan Watt and Jeff Shrunk do so well but was hoping to see a Pauch run. I will be attending Bridgeport and OCFS soon. It is a very short drive over the Delaware Memorial Bridge to Bridgeport for me and an easy run through Jersey to Middletown NY. Jeff I still would like to know how the drivers take the heat. ??!!

Great video and editing, thank you! I really liked how you edited the first feature, in car footage during the race and the wide shot from the grandstands for the restarts. That gives us where Mike is restarting and who is around him. Looked to me like the bottom was all that was there tonight, kudos to Mike for at least trying the top to pass. Can relate to the not being able to hear after sitting in the covered grandstands for a race, spent many years in the covered grandstands at Flemington... loud! And now they have mufflers, back then straight open pipes.

Mike I noticed your Left front tire wearing on the inside. How bout 1 - 2 degrees Positive camber on that one. The L/F is the week tire but that can help stick it in the turns. It also helps in the straights because just the outer half side will be on the ground. Just a thought.

Dusty and slick is an understatement, 2 weeks in a row good track moisture from weather, third week skip any decent track prep. Never seen sprint cars wing or no wing turn 10-12 seconds slower lap times in feature than they turned on a dry slick track for heats.

Malta Tonight? Is there any job on the car, shop or pits, that is exclusively Mikes? Our driver was a Fully certified Steam / Pipe Fitter so he DID ALL the WELDING until late in the game when he had trained his son to weld to his satisfaction. No one else on the crew was ever allowed to weld and we only used a track welder the first year before we started bring our own to the track.

True - I am a testament to that. At the Trenton indoor dirt race my ear plugs vanished. It was about a week after the race the hearing in my right ear came back. I am not exaggerating. Jeff

Car looked a little snug in, Mike really had to drive in deeper on top, then brake hard... car was great center out though. Not bad if this was motocross you are tide in points with 6-7 with the 4x Storms car also with a 7-6 or 13 points. So Mike would be 5th overall. 4x Storms 4th overall Higher second moto finish. Lol
