@theheskK9 I’m a 63yr old British woman and couldn’t agree more. But the same could have been said for my generation at a younger age. I was young in the late 60s and the 70s. We were vilified. It’s the curse of youth. Only those of us that remember being young know how good the majority of the younger generation are. You are wonderful and the future. As are these two boys. When you are older, remember what it was like to be young and embrace the youth that follows you. They will be your future.

I adore Lewis Capaldi. I love his music and his humor is amazing. This song is about how somebody died and had donated her heart to a new lady. It's from her husband's point of view. If you decide to do more Lewis Capaldi you can also find his humor in his music in his song Grace. You should check it out if you really enjoy his music

You guys nailed it! His vocals are amazing! They're so strong and the range in great. He has that controlled raspiness and very smooth, innocent quality too. The lyrics hit home because we all know how it feels to miss someone that's just toxic. It's like clockwork. My favorite part is that he repeats the chorus without breaking at the end. It gives us the idea that he's stuck in that long, repetitive hell that he can't get out of. That long night that won't end where he's just missing her and needing her. Great video, guys!!

Thanks Tim! 🎉 July 19, 2024. Today is your birthday. Happiest of birthdays to you and Fred. This video was recommended to me right after I left a message for you on Patreon. Lewis Capaldi became my new favourite artist the first time I heard him sing. What a voice! 😍

In an interview with the French magazine Brut, Capaldi revealed he wrote the song about his grandmother who had died. For me the video is about the people we surround ourselves with that have the strength when we don't and help us continue to make the right decisions in moments of fear or hardship. In the moment we often choose to ignore friends and family, thinking our judgement is better, but of course in hindsight when you’re in that headspace it’s almost impossible to make the right decisions 😃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The first time I heard this song, it was just ok... nothing special. Sometimes I would change the station to see if there was something better playing. After a while, I would just leave it on. This song just gets better & better the more you hear it. Now it's a regular song on my playlist. This was a well deserved #1 hit, in a time when horrible songs rule the charts. It was nice to hear a good song reach #1.

I first heard this song when Chris Daugherty sang it on Masked Singer and I instantly fell in love with it. I then saw the music video with his uncle, Peter Capaldi and I ugly cried so much during the video. When I got to the end of the video and fully understood what the story was, I had to rewatch it. I HIGHLY recommend watching the other music video as well. I listened to this song a lot after that. Then my mom passed away and this song hurt so much more. When my dad asked if I had any suggestions for songs to play at her funeral, this is one of the songs I suggested and had played for her.
