If you've ever wondered why being "just friends" with your twin flame feels so impossible or unnatural, you need to hear this... More twin flames are awakening faster than ever before on the planet. I think it's also important for those of us in a third-party situation to realize that no matter how hard we try, we have to just stay away until that is resolved. The push-pull of the "trying to be friends" while also dealing with the energy of that other person is just exhausting and debilitating. As you said, Infinity, the best thing we can do is just focus on ourselves and at some point, that's the realization we all have to come to.

We are way more than friends. The energy is wild when we come together. It’s way so much more, I wrote and published a book of poetry, for him. About him. I hesitate to say I love you. He holds my hand. We are everything together he knows it. He always escapes…..He moves it into more than friendship, once I told him I appreciate you. I thought it was me with the voice connection. THANK YOU for saying that! I can't get enough of my TF's voice and when I haven't spoken to him within a certain amount of time (he works long hours on certain freelance jobs), I listen to videos bc he talks to me in them. I love hearing him say my name! It's not like everyone else, he's different. I tell people he's my bar of how I have to feel for anyone to have a chance to be with me, but the truth is I know nobody will ever come close to him (it's been almost 2 years). I have no desire to ever let anyone so much as kiss me, I know it won't be enough and I don't want to hurt someone else giving them false hope and being in love with my best friend.

I ended up choosing to be with my soulmate instead. We may not have the passion and intensity I have with my twin but he gives me everything else a partner should give in a relationship and he doesn’t run away. I'm in total agreement with you. This connection is felt on all levels but because of human conditioning we try to suppress those romantic feelings. My twin tried to "friendzone" me but I couldn't hold back my response telling him, "you know we're more than friends." To his credit, he then admitted it was true(with shear fear in his eyes saying, "I know but, I don't want it to get out." Meaning he didn't want our coworkers and friends to find out. We did meet on our job and as time went by it became more and more intense as the magnetic pull was impossible to ignore. If the Creator/God gave you the opportunity within your very core a divine realized unconditional love that is not reflected on "good or bad" human conditions which are based on judgment polarities, would you step into the chance? But I will say, just because the videos say "twin flames" does not mean it is the true interpretation as many are misguided and slap twin flame label on it because it's trendy I guess. Anyone can read or watch videos although not be able to grasp it through the mind because it's the true spiritual journey of letting go of form as the other is your greatest spiritual teacher. It's 100% energy. The goal is ascension, not the twin flame. Mastery is within, not outside. IF your soul magnetizes the other in, it's a byproduct of one's ascension. It's just that people nowdays are so in need of validation for their feelings that they have to put a label on a relastionship that REALLY makes them suffer. They call it a twinflame relationship. This is tiring 😞 ~ known him 27 years met in college dated for 3 years on & off but found out he was my twin 6 years ago when we were both married to others. I’m now divorced & very discouraged by this journey at times. There will be progress and the regression push pull with us because of ego it makes one or both of us move on or run in different directions. We both deserve better than what we have had in past relationships. But my mind often wonders is this worth it at almost 50 years old. It makes my heart ache. Hermit mode makes me feel safe. I'm glad that I tried to be friends with my twin - I came into their life at a time when they were opening to spirituality again and we naturally inspired and supported each other to grow and there was some healing for both of us. I still believe I met my twin while I was married. We worked at the same place but never together. We never even spoke to even say hi. But when ever I saw her in the hallways heading out to lunch with her girlfriends I felt some kind of an attraction that I never could understand. It was so intense I knew if I went up to talk to her it could jeopardize my marriage. She eventually left the company due to downsizing. No, you cannot be just friends with your twin flame for a long time, even most probably not for a short time because there is a strong pull to them. Having a TF that you cannot be physically connected with is very difficult. But when things work out so that you are near them sometimes just knowing you will see them regularly helps. Facing physical separation now with whom I think is my TF is ripping my heart out. My TF, I don’t think is awakened…there are moments I think they sense it, but they are just so nice to everyone so I’m not sure they feel the connection like I do…maybe they aren’t my TF. I have a chronic illness and was doing lots better when me and twin reconnected but something happened in the connection that caused intense emotional stress and I relapsed really badly - scary symptoms. my tf tries convulsive to be friends (in a casual way) but he is so drawn to me and last time he holds back again after a long long very intensive hug (just a hug). because he is with another person and limiting his own mind. i can be friends with people i feel no attraction to. i have to try to be neutral instead when he´s involved or meeting him only on neutral places outside. i am not looking for physical contact when we meet but he does every time. thats why i dont ask for spending time together anymore. have no idea why he stays in a unhappy relationship. he already broke up with her once but stays with her anyway. i never want to be like just an affair. like he´s official with her and meeting up with me now and then to fill those gaps he is lacking? hell no. i deserve more than that! tf or no tf thats an absolute no-go (for me). even if she is not existent to me. i know he don´t love her 🤷‍♀but i experienced this similar with my last relationship, when at the end there was no love at all. to me it was just kind of disgusting to be with someone i dont want to have to be near to me or touching me. i felt cornered like an animal at that time. in my first relationship i was with someone for 1 year and because i was unhappy there i was going into the next relationship (with my last bf) without a break in between and it doesn´t felt any good either. but here..i think he is trying to be friends with me because he´s afraid and can instead hide himself behind that "blabla i have a gf" like a shield that kind of protects him from our connection. his ego is strong

Infinity, is it possible to break free from my TF forever like ordinary friends or lovers in simple situations like ordinary people do? Why did I have a TF counterpart? Ok... well, the twin is emerging out of confinement in 9 days from now. So we have been forced separated, however, this last year we have been in contact, we are more friends than anything because he's confined and I only get to hear him over the phone a few min a day.. Hes going to be in a program once he's released... Anyways, I'm hesitant to see him in person or on the outside because I ALREADY KNOW WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN. I'd rather not. I'm finally on the right track, and it scares me to think I could fall back into wanting him more than myself once again, especially since he can't give me what I deserve. I don't know what I'm going to do because I know he's going to want to see me. But I don't think it's a good idea.
