Twin Flames - A perspective on non-duality & other comments

We were children when we met. And after we parted ways - I still have PTSD from this traumatic separation - I was introduced as a young adult to advaita vedanta teachings, and reiki. Both provided a very solid base in my life. I could not stress enough how non duality built my personal and spiritual foundations ! While reiki made invisible energy very familiar. When I eventually awoke through TF 5D connection, as a senior woman, vedanta had no precise answers. BUT... it helped me keep a sane mind. My original teaching said: "ultimately, all you have to do is love yourself ". That teaching never failed me. It is profoundly who I am, and the TF journey awakening had a solid base to unfold from. Of course, the twins community has to come into play at one point, but not too soon ! Right on time in my journey, it gave me perspective, help, validation. Earlier in my life, it would have distorted my whole experience. I messed up, we messed up, we've been away 33 years, I've learned, and today I have come to such gratitude that I wouldn't change a thing. It takes a lifetime to grow as a decent and hopefully enlightened human being, and each chapter has a purpose. Now everyone's different, but I wouldn't teach English to a child without starting with the alphabet. I was very lucky, the master who introduced me to spirituality was the most empathetic and enlightened human being ❤... He made me make peace with my twin long before I knew what we were. The right guidance always comes at the right moment.

I can viscerally feel the warmth, gratitude and pride towards me from my masculine's soul when I stand in my power. Especially, when I do need to set boundaries with him temporarily. And, it is the most blissful and expansive energy coming from him that truly cradles my soul essence. I feel revived. Also, I am happy that you expounded on non-duality. I believe the same as you. I so appreciate your wisdom and guidance. 🙏🏼❤I hope it's OK to post such a long ramble here, but I feel inspired to share because the topic of the non-dual path vs the twin flame (TF) path is something I have thought a lot about over the past couple of years. I was a serious seeker on non-duality paths for 20+ years before soul recognition/awakening with my twin happened a couple of years ago (and I am still navigating this new path). From my experience, the TF journey and non-duality paths are different, though they can be complimentary, and as far as I can tell from my current perspective, both ultimately lead to the realization of The One/God/Self/Unified Soul/whatever words you want to use here. There are, however, some things the TF journey brought to me that non-duality paths did not, and two of these things are exactly what you said in the video. First, the TF journey forces(!!) you to face and transmute your "shadow aspects," the non-aligned, split-off parts of the Soul's experience (from this as well as other incarnations) that have been denied, repressed or just not dealt with. These mis-alignments can (and do) also come up on non-duality paths, but there is not an *emphasis* on transmuting them, and they can be easily (but temporarily) "bypassed" by going into high meditative states (been there, done that, still tempted to do it sometimes... but I don't, at least not for that reason). The second element that came to the forefront of my experience on the TF path is the emphasis on managing and learning about energy, including the intense kundalini energy that we all know so well, as well as suddenly being given a host of spiritual/psychic gifts and abilities. These things too, can and do happen for some on the non-dual path, but on the TF journey, they come on abruptly, often overwhelmingly, and seem to be a major part of the "curriculum." I was very puzzled for a while as to WHY? after so many years of true devotion to my spiritual (non-dual) path, and after many transcendent awakenings, I was suddenly thrust upon the TF journey. And while I may never know all of the nuances of my Soul's decision to give "me/itself" this experience, I can say a couple of things. The spiritual acceleration factor on the TF journey is off-the-charts. The shifts, transformations and realizations happen so rapidly; I am continually stunned by this (and very grateful). AND... it comes at a high price, which is the "requirement" to experience and alchemize a whole lot of painful emotional density, like digging through layers of mud to find the diamonds buried there, so to speak. The Sufi poet Rumi kind of sums it up in this quote: "What is the price of knowing God? It costs everything! What a bargain..." YES. 🙏🏼 And one more thing. The TF journey really is the path of Divine Love; straight through the Heart and only for the brave. It is no coincidence that the Latin root of the word “courage” is "cor," which means “heart.”❤

Thank you for this. I was attempting to understand spirituality through books before I met my twin. Now after my awakening, when I read such books, I am highly aware of the slow path to awakening that is taught in them vs. the head on slam into awakening via the tfj.

As a twin flame, no matter how hard you run away or deny it we will eventually have to face our darkness You can try but you will not escape. I surrendered and have been going deep within, now I can my twin going through his awakening, it's so intense and I'm affected by his energy, I feel so worn out, I feel anger, sadness and disappointment but I know it's not from my body but his... and every time I feel these I focus more on my self love and worth

Oooh Kathleen.. I really resonate with all what you are saying, some of those for a first time. I used to doupt what my soul was bringing up.. I needed confirmation from an expert about my personal journey.. Now I trust my knowing and here you are confirming what I feel is true.. 3-4 months ago I had a dream.. Thanks for addressing my non-duality question Kathleen! I didn’t mention in my initial question that I have gone through pretty extensive 9 month shadow work (and emotional purging associated with that 😅). I just wasn’t aware that’s what you call ‘soul work’. But your answer really helped for further clarity. Appreciate your perspective ❤

Not sure exactly what yet, but definitely was aware of something. 🙏 Oh I think I know... it was clearly the karma faster with 2 bodies. I knew that but I think that is really starting to sink in.

Hi Kathleen, thank you for addressing this. There are some hardcore non-duality 'teachers' who are teaching this from their own unbalanced, fear-based energy. It is very important to trust our intuition on this journey (energy doesn't lie) and stay away from 'coaches' who feel off. My personal take is that the twin flame journey is so we can square off with ourselves first. I think hardcore non-duality teachers confuse the first step to ascension (twin flame journey) with full ascension (which takes more lifetimes to achieve).

I definitely agree with all this. Non-duality teachings have helped me greatly on this journey and still do, however I believe true spirituality and the point of becoming a human and to awaken, especially via the twin, is to balance the energies as you say and accept that we are dual in nature, with the masculine/feminine, light/dark, etc and to bring soul into this vessel and anchor a 5D and/or higher consciousness or soul consciousness into our 3D bodies and to be a living example and template for relationships in this dualistic world we live in. That’s my personal take in so many words, but you’ve covered this topic beautifully and yes most non-duality teachers completely deny this journey or just don’t get it and that is their path which is valid….

as a male DF i have found this journey undescribable. My DM is at least 30 years younger, or at least i think she is. I have never been an egoic alpha male, yet a creative who has always gone out of my way to help others, pass on my knowledge, to my detrement. recieving has never been my fortay. i have learnt so much on my boundaries, or lack there of and all the times in my life when i knew i should have spoken my truth, yet didnt due to the risk of being hammered down,. to hear that a young lady will love me beyond my dreams and would want to give to me, and i to be the reciever is thought provoking. an interesting journey indeed. recently a change has evolved, she is by me at night, i feel her eyes by me, looking into mine. a new season. another step.

Yes I do! I see both the masculine and feminine as one. The colours are very distinct and different between the two energies. It is truly incredible ❣️
