Regardless, I wanted to say to anyone who might be reading this, one of the best advices I picked from Mr Mel’s videos is “do not take it personally”. I cannot emphasize how important this is, it’s the key to navigating through. Pure gold! Once u r able to dettach from any word or action coming from your TF, things get very simple. The main problem with being an empath is people who can drain your energy. It can happen just because someone is low on energy, but the big problem is people who are always low on energy(e.g. alcoholics). These low-energy people have discovered how to drain your energy(sometimes just being close to you works), and it doesn't matter to them how that affects you, so you have to learn how to protect your energy. This energy draining can get to the point where it's life-threatening.

Thank you for sharing! I didn't know anything about twin flames and 'awakenings' when my own journey started. It transformed me so much that I thought I was ill. It was very scary. It felt comforting to read others have been dealing with this too. Being female doesn't mean it's not confusing, even if you are intuitive. I'm not a spiritual person; I don't meditate, never believed in soul mates, chakras or enlightenment. The past couple of months have been a continuous (but beautiful) WTF experience. I'm so glad I came across this video in my suggestions. I feel at peace now. I have been journaling what I've been through which has really helped too. This is exactly what I'm experiencing right now. Obviously a few things are only specific to my experience but everything else is quite similar. You're right it is overwhelming, especially when you don't know what the hell is happening. I sometimes lose sleep over the depth of the connection and it has been like that for some time (2 1/2 years). Thought I was going crazy for a while but now I see the big picture and I am able to process it in a healthier way. It's difficult talking to people about it because mostly they just think it's silly or have no idea what you're talking about ("is that like a soulmate thing."). So I don't anymore I just accept it and see it as something to learn from. We haven't actually met in the physical and were communicating via social media. This has been way beyond anything I've ever experienced even with an ex whom really hurt me. I am exercising rigorously daily, eating clean (as best as I can), no alcohol for almost 2 years. I have developed telepathic and other abilities I never knew I was capable of. Although I feel like I've lost my TF by freaking her the hell out, I'm sensing it won't be a permanent thing. If we don't come into union I feel like the whole experience is about the awakening processes more than anything. I'm honestly getting to the point where I'm okay with that, not sure how it would've worked anyway. We live on the other side of the world to each other (Australia, Canada). Sure I'd like it if we did but I now know that the journey is not about getting what you want. The very best I can hope for is a platonic friendship in the future. I have no hard feelings towards her, even though it stung at first when she cut off communication. I probably would've done the same in her situation, as I was very vocal about what I was experiencing to her but felt lost in what to do about it. In hindsight it was a very valuable lesson to learn to put myself first. I feel like it's for the best at the moment for us to focus on ourselves and I'm feeling very positive about the direction my life is heading. If the universe wills us together than that's not for me to decide. We both needed to grow. The point of writing this was to assure people that you are worthy of love, respect and all the other good things in life. You may feel pathetic at times, I know I did and sometimes still do but I wouldn't have changed it for the world :) Also from my experience that's part of the ascencion process. It doesn't define your life it's a LESSON. Thank you for your guidance. God Bless.

Good video!! My father was a first wave, is of your age group, but hasn't fared as well as yourself, Mel. He didn't trust his intuition, became a life long alcoholic, with some really nasty behaviors ... today he can't figure out why he did these things ... very intelligent man. Largely men, and their 'kingly kingdoms' have pulled me down from great spiritual heights and being able to function optimally as a mother. My woman friends have pulled me through, as well as my kids, ... a great blessing. My TF is actually always been intuitive, but consider that these abilities can be used for very self-centered behaviors: rampant self-cherishing/absorption, etc. He has now more fully awakened, but i feel that he previously did see me as his everything 'mistress', that i would always be there for him ... etc. The clairvoyant levels are v. high -- i have told him i am definitely his friend, and send him loving energy, but i i am not interested in being part of a 'harem' ... I'm trying to find moments of time to interject my loving presence in his life -- where he would see/hear a different future for himself, I have some doubts about the 'fairytale' (obviously), but it's still possible. I hold it in a bubble of "aspirations" ... but i no longer 'expect' it, because this would be practically foolish. I don't talk to anyone about this ... they only think I am nuts. Truth is, the community at large, do not understand the concept of 'we are all one' ... because they want to see themselves simply from the egoic consciousness, and so want to maintain status quo.

Thank you so much Mel for this insight. It is a great confirmation of what I have been intuiting as I recently connected with a man at a distance. We seem to be on the same page but he has had much trauma in his life. He is an awakened soul and expresses this through his art. You explanation is a great help in navigating this new state for me. I found out the main defense against being an empath is to add energy at all times to your body. I invented something that does that. It doesn't completely work(i.e. in all situations, but does diminish the bad side effects from being an empath), so I use affirmations, casting out demons, and the Holy Grail Vortex also, but the overall lose of energy is much less if you constantly have high energy.

My goodness, some of your information on this video I used to reflect about. The concept of love - one's own concept of love - really hit me as this has been a constant reflection/contemplation of mine. I can recognise many things you are saying as having happened to me - and I'm a female. I had to edit this Mel because I need to share and I know you read them. Your experience of your first marriage is very similar to mine. I left everything behind because i wanted to experience the real thing - real authenticity - in everything especially my relationship.... and guess what? I did!! BUT your comment about wanting a 'partner' not a 'wife' made me realise that I (and my partner) have slipped into wife and husband mode recently - it's a big puller this 'traditional' programming. And I also now just remembered what you had said in another video 'you can't know what you want unless you know what you don't want' - and I'm sure that by experiencing this I am getting very clear on what I don't want. Good video presentation, Mel. Thank you for taking the time to explain the 'awakening' from the male point of view. Learning to understand things from another person's point of view, or learning to have compassion for others, should also be considered "part of the evolutionary process." In fact, I consider it part of growing up and becoming an adult. Women are naturally more inclined than men to discuss how and what they feel, generally speaking, in my opinion. I think that's changing, but I think women tend to be more communicative by nature. Men sometimes need to be left alone to think, feel and process things. The ability to 'see' what's coming, to 'know' what someone else may be feeling before he/ she does, or to sense where something is headed or what's on the horizon can be a blessing, but it can also be a burden. Certain gifts must be handled very carefully - with tact, patience, awareness and a sense of timing. That has been my experience. Thank you again for giving your time and thoughts to this topic.

I became an empath first. Because I was susceptible to other people's states, I had to have some protection against that. I started with stones, and ended up inventing something that gave me energy at tall times. After this, and after I accepted being alone(I'm 67) for the rest of my life-at least romantically, I met a karmic soulmate who was a psychopath(no, they don't treat you any differently than a non-soulmate. Mine did like me, though, and didn't like her other partners.). After I learned my lesson(what I would accept and not accept), she was no longer my soulmate, although I'm still hers. I then met a soulmate, my twin flame, and another soulmate. I stopped even asking myself(through my heart chakra) if someone was a soulmate. I can't get together with my twin flame(huge age gap, among other things), but she insists I not get involved with anyone else(she is correct.). I'm in the process of finding out about what this means for me and for her. We both do better when we think of each other.

34:55 The terms “divine masculine” and “divine feminine”, anymore, are merely euphemisms for “spiritually awakened man” and “spiritually awakened woman”. If only I had a dollar every time I heard “blah blah blah divine masculine - oh, but when i say divine masculine I’m not talking about gender, I’m talking about energy...” and they go RIGHT BACK to talking about masculine GENDER. [Related note: I’ve seen and heard a lot of spiritual women refer to themselves as tomboys and self-proclaiming to have very strong masculine energy, yet I’ve NEVER ONCE heard them refer to themselves as the divine masculine. What are the odds?!] And also this, “divine masculine” is basically used as a euphemism for “the lesser/newly awakened counterpart”. There’s this circular reasoning at play [some would call it “no loose ends”! ha!] that, “Well, women are generally more spiritually aware than men [this much is true], therefore, for a given pair of counterparts, the more-spiritually awakened one is the divine feminine counterpart. How do we know this? Well, because the feminine is more awake than the masculine!” And also, “Masculine energy is more material, and feminine energy is more spiritual.” That’s steamin’ pile of spiritual bullshit that’s been created and propagated by women in the spiritual community, I’ll tell you what. Riddle me this: if spirit (divinity) is opposite matter, then how can divine masculine energy be anything other than spiritual?? Nevermind the various masculine (men) avatars/archetypes/saints from VARIOUS religions and spiritual lineages who play very strong “pro-spirit, anti-matter” [pun lol] roles, and the likewise the various feminine (women) avatars/achetypes/saints who play very strong “Earthly nurturance” roles as part of their spiritual mission. Fact is: of the divine (spiritual) energy there is masculine and feminine, and of the material (corporeal) manifestation/representation OF the spiritual energy [because spirit begets matter, not vice versa] there is also masculine and feminine. And of men and women alike in this material realm, there is a mixture/balance of masculine and feminine spiritual energy AND masculine and feminine material energy. But point being: “masculine” is not equivocal to matter, nor is “feminine” equivocal to spirit. The thing is, or at least it seems to me, that many (and perhaps “most”) women in the spiritual community do not recognize what true divine masculinity as expressed through the human form even is! In regards to myself and other heterosexual men I know who are quite spiritual evolved, our temperaments are not necessarily much different at all than “non spiritual men”, but there is a subtle underlying spiritual compassion in the way we live our lives that set us apart [i.e. make us holy; set apart] in the way we interact with others and the way we interact with ourselves. But it’s not the type of “spiritual masculinity” that women are usually looking for (or necessarily even know how to accept).

Chandan, I invented something that constantly gives me energy. That alone diminishes many of the bad effects of being an empath. So, what you can learn from that is to do things to increase your energy. I don't think, without my invention, it will be totally effective(i.e. you might have to do some protection things-stones, etc.), but my invention does point out the main problem(i.e. energy draining) of being an empath.

A concept of love, sex and relationships that is your own. It's borrowed from someone else, so many outside influences. You're hitting the nail on its head here. Halfway in this talk, and this hits home so hard. I've always felt off about all the fucking lists people make but are borrowed from someone else. And I'm guilty as well. Male here. I've only slightly started to develop empathic abilities as of recently (during the year changes), though for me it seems to develop gradually. Though I've always been veeeeery intuitive, imho perhaps even moreso than a lot of women. Talk about trying to ground these energies and remain sane. I consider myself a success, cause 2 yrs later I am divorced, have time and energy for myself and my kids, and after my twin revealed to me he is into swinger clubs and threesomes and thought I was sent to him by heaven to be his ultimate wife for this lifestyle, I am also turned off from him at least for the time being.But it took some balls for me to come to this point of balance, every day counted.

Great information Mel! I have recently started opening up and telling my DM about how I was divinely guided to him. I told him about signs and syncronisities. He even asked for examples wanting to understand what I was saying. My question is how do I being up the empathic stuff he is experiencing? Like you said they may not even realize it or understand it. So do I just say do you feel things you never felt before? How do you start that conversation?
