How would I thread for a triple needle? Where would the third spool go ? Into which channel would the third thread go?

The third spool could be on an external spool stand or it could be thread from a wound bobbin placed under one of the first two spools. You could also try using the third spool pin on the stand. You would thread through either side of the tension disk so that one side would have two threads. Make sure to go through the entire process by pushing the threading button for all three threads one at a time.

Yes! It is beautiful. You do need to be aware that the backside, the bobbin side, is a zig-zag.
