To me, the animal doc was Sarah's way of making sense of what happened to her family, like this kind of violence is natural.

22:09 It was Windom Earle's computer. After the doppelganger escaped the Black Lodge he went back to the cabin and took all of Windom Earle's stuff and then killed Leo and left.

Interestingly, the ghost guy in the jail cell looks a lot like 'the electrician', one of the Room Above The Convenience Store spirits in FWWM, except all black where the spirit in the film is wearing black but has white dude's face

I had a similar thought. My pet theory is that he's a black lodge spirit and was controlling Bill the night Ruth was murdered.

Yeah, I like that theory! Maybe BadCoop made sure he'd get got for it, trying to disrupt other Lodge spirit activities before they disrupt his. He could have used Phyllis somehow to plant the finger prints or at least the skin in his car to make sure he gets convicted. The coordinates he wants from Hasting's secretary could have something to do with a Black Lodge portal maybe?

I've also seen people comment that he looks like Jerry Horne.

Walter Olkewicz character is named as Jeam Michelle Renault.Maybe another brother or cousin perhaps.Maybe he is the Renault relative who apparently killed Hank in prison.

the body of ruth may be the "vessel" for the evolution of the arm or it's doppelgänger (in the box)

James' friend is definitely British. He says, in a very British accent, "It's the dog's bullocks in here." Meaning, "Yes, James, this place is the shite."

We now all probably know that the guy James was with is Freddie Sykes (sp?). It seems odd to me in retrospect, assuming Freddie and James were working security at the Great Northern, that Freddie didn't tell James the saga of the green glove this night or before.

Why is noone talking about how episode 1 and 2 are the same thing. Am I crazy? Episode 1 is 2 hrs long and episode 2 is 1 hr but it has the same scenes from episode 1, what am I missing????

The white horse, previously, has been a symbol of death. Sarah saw the horse immediately prior to the murders of Maddy and Laura (in the series and film). And in the Book of Revelation in the bible Death rides a pale horse. What it means here, in the middle of the Black Lodge, is not clear. Maybe it's a sign of a traumatic journey between worlds. In this case it comes before (but not immediately before) Cooper's reinsertion back into the mortal world.

It's not Jacques Renault. He's playing Jean Michel Renault.

Did that creepy looking spirit in the prison cell not inhabit Bill Hastings when he committed the crime?...Thats what i took from it anyway.

I dunno man, some of those effects just seem poor because they lacked the budget or were outright lazy. Mainly I think this is reflected in the terrible green screen work Cole's car ride during Part 4 (which altogether has a more Tim and Eric vibe than Lynch), the fact that nobody masked Bad Coop's fingers during the hacking scene so in at least one shot it's clipping under the screen's image, and the hysterically lousy JPEG corpse they threw over the bed in the first episode.

Blorp Weatherby it's Kitsh and fits Lynch very well as its aesthetic

Yes failing to mask someone's fingers so an overlayed image clips over them is totally a stylistic choice and not laziness. You guys will excuse anything, huh? Like yes, I know there are things that are meant to be that way, but there's plenty that are outright the result of laziness, a poor budget, or bucking the task off to someone who is still learning. The green screen car ride and laptop being the top two. The body super imposed on the bed may have been stylistic but it was a bad fuckin choice.
