I think there's some kind of play on doors in the scene where Gordon sees Laura. He opens a door and sees a vision of her at Donna's door. Then, moments later, when Tammy arrives, there's a quick glitch in the video right in the area of the doorknob just before she knocks. There's a post on IMGUR called, "The doors are not what they seem," which isolates that moment. More Lynchian beef jerky to chew on a while.

I re-watched Mullholland Dr. last night and had that same dreamy feeling. Didn't Andy know to investigate that truck that Richard drove? How would Andy have known that if someone hadn't reported it to the police? Since Miriam knew who was driving I'd think that would be more important than just finding the truck. Also, why haven't we seen any follow-up to Andy's failure to bring that guy in that owned the truck and was he killed by Richard?
@garycottier927 жыл бұрын
Yeah it sure was a sloppy investigation. Maybe someone else who witnessed the hit and run described the truck, not Miriam. But why did Andy agree to 'meet at 4:30' anyway? And when the farmer didn't show up why didn't he go back and see where he was? The next time we see Andy he's arguing with Lucy about the colour of a chair. I assumed David Lynch probably got Andy to agree to the 4:30 thing so to have an interesting follow up at the farmer's house. But nothing. Sloppy investigation and sloppy filmmaking as far as I can see.

I'm interested in reading between the lines to figure out what happened to the Horne family. I believe that Evil Cooper raped and threatened her and that she sided with him over the family. I think that Evil Cooper leaned on her to get money from the family that was subsequently used to build a small empire in NY that she owns in seclusion. I think that being raped, isolated from her family and having an evil son has cast a very dark shadow on her. I'm thinking that she will start from a very low place and find some redemption this season. I get the feeling that maybe Ben grew as a person due to the traumatic events but it ruined his marriage. Maybe mom blamed Audrey and he sympathized with her but Audrey ultimately distanced herself from everyone, even her son. Maybe grandma raised him?
@TheMichm12217 жыл бұрын
I totally understand that Twin Peaks is a small town, but I noticed on Miriam's note that she didn’t give a street or state in the return address, but did post the zip. On the address for the sheriff station, she didn't put a zip. Given that the name is different in the credits, it seems likely that it's the wrong one. Plus, she mailed it that day. It's already been collected, processed and delivered?

Sabre Flurry this is the problem I'm having with this season. The continuity. The text Diane sent should have been yesterday morning, not "this morning", or is not everything in strict chronological order. I mean, how long has been Jerry been out in the woods for? Three/four days? And even though Ben knows that Jerry is lost and his car was stolen, he certainly doesn't seem too concerned. Or is there a weird time thing going on here?

This Dougie business has me all confused. When Janey kept saying they were going to take him to the doctor in the earlier episodes, I assumed they meant a mental health doctor, to figure out why he can barely speak or function. He was obviously mentally competent enough to secure a job, accrue gambling debts, and sleep with expensive prostitutes.

Love your videos (both TP and GoT). I wish your playlists were organized chronologically oldest to newest so new viewers can catch up on your older material without having to fight against youtube's interface. If playlists are set up older to newer, rather than the way you currently have it set up, people can catch up easier on your older material in order. And it makes it easier for newer viewers of your channel to see all your work in order. It's hard to recommend you to friends simply because of the way your channel is set up. Thanks for all your hard work. Love that you're covering both Game of Thrones and Twin Peaks!
@PetePeppers17 жыл бұрын
I think it is standard practice to do it that way so that your most recent videos show up on the KZbin channel page. Otherwise the same videos would be there forever.

@kristenmitre197 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure it's standard practice. You're the only youtuber I can really think of who sorts their videos in playlists this way. It doesn't seem to affect what is on the main channel page, and if the videos in a playlist (separate from what appears on your main page) are chronological, then someone watching your videos for the first time could view them in order, not backwards or in a weird order, without having to check the date to see if they're actually watching in order of release. There's just not an easy way to catch up on your videos unless you're watching them faithfully in order as they come out.

I read the SHOTP and Diane mentioning Mexico sounded familiar to something with Jack Parsons, that was similar with Hastings and so I looked at that section. There is a newspaper article when he dies that at the end mentions his wife fleeing to Mexico, right after it mentions Parsons mother (named Ruth) kills herself. Tammy also points out on a page that Parsons wife confirmed they were planning to move permanently to Mexico. Im looking forward to next week some morebto see if anything matches. I like that scientist theory with the german type name on Has tings website aswell because Tammy mentions German scientists post WW2 in that section. I'm still looking for any sign that the events in Las Vegas are current. So far everything points to it being 2003 in Vegas. The plates on Dougie's blown up car are 2003 plates. Jade's yellow Jeep sahara is a 2003 model. The electric box that Dale used to transport to Vegas had the number 3 on it after he at first was waved off of going in the one labeled 15 by the woman with no eyes (she waved him off of 2015 and pulled the transformer switch to change it to 2003 before hurling off into the void). And Sonny Jim is roughly 11 or 12 years old. This timeline fits with Evil Coop fleeing Twin Peaks in 1990, going to Vegas and manufacturing Dougie (and possibly his whole family) in 1991. Thoughts anyone?

It's amazing how much we analyse everything after each episode. But is everything significant? Will things ever be resolved? I mean, we were asking ourselves about the importance of the '119 girl' but I'll be surprised if we see her again. And some of the editing? Hawk's on the phone to the log lady just like the first episode and guess what? It's exactly the same scene with that little yellow pen in the foreground. I mean, change a few things round a bit. And how many times have we seen the two people walk by with the motorcycle going past outside the roadhouse? This is a great season but it's certainly flawed and I must admit, I'm surprised at some of this sloppy editing.
