Wonderful and precise build..!!! It was a relief to learn that you managed the nose weight on this "tail sitter" ....60 grams...wow.... About a month back, I sent you pictures of my P 38 build to your e-mail. Maybe, it went into your junk folder.... I believe the Pacific theatre(Guadalcanal) units of the US Air Corps were all meant for high speed interception and not for ground attack. Hence, no pylons/pods were in place for bombs or rockets.... All in all....Great work...!!!!

Excellent build, great work. The reason why you couldn’t find instructions for the rockets is due to this variant of the P-38 not being able to carry them. Later variants carried the “Christmas tree” rocket pylons. Keep up the great work.

Just an amazing build. It is quite common with the case of such models like P-38, B-24 Liberator, B-25 Mitchell to be habitual tail-sitters. Its from my experience through, as I had built the B-25 in the past. But, anyhow its a modeller's true skills and technical expertise that comes into paly at solving such situations, which you have done amazingly. 😊🤗👍

This one was the best build yet so nicely clean and smooth surface i can tell u r very proud of this one. I m also building model sanding nubs and making plastic smooth is hard as i m not painting. I will apply decals once my solution arrives from ebay. Which top coat would u recommend?

I've used various stuff as top coat. Daler Rowney gloss varnish is good, humbrol gloss varnish is also fine
