The national portrait Gallery did not ask Harriman to send in any photo or anything else. Megan asked Harriman to send it in which he did and the national portrait gallery has put it in their archives/warehouse . The gallery when questioned said has no plans to show this photograph of which they did not ask Harryman to send in.

I’m originally from Africa. Lots of friends still there. Friends too from Britain and Australia. We ALL understood very clearly what the First Lady was saying and intimating. As well as decrying the standard of dress “undress”, she also threw shade on people like Meghan who feel some kind of need to find themselves in Africa. The African women and girls already know themselves. Meghan is actually being very insulting by pretending she has a big black heritage. She doesn’t. And she is using Africa for her own narrative. She will never return. Let’s take bets now. Lots of Africans have taken offence at this. There is no need for Meghan to think she is a role model for African women. Her speech in that red dress was shocking considering the calibre and status of the other women in the room. She looks down on African people. It’s clearly upset many and everyone I know and lots of commentators have seen what the First Lady meant. Well done for keeping Meghan’s lies and pretentious out in the open.
