I don't know anything about this woman's brother and I feel for her and her family because of his loss. My father also died of cancer and unfortunately others around me have died of cancer. It has taught me that cancer treatment is brutal, people lose a lot of weight because they have no appetite due to the illness and also because of the medication. Princess Catherine was very thin before her illness and so she became even thinner and this has the effect of making people seem older. But we also know that as Princess Catherine recovers she will stop looking so frail and that is why it is tactless and mean of this woman to discuss Princess Catherine's appearance. As if the princess' appearance matters? So when she receives justified criticism for talking about the princess like that, as you say, she is implying that Princess Catherine did not have cancer, and that is why people are criticizing her words. But this woman then brings out her "trump card", which is the only "trump card" that the people who blindly follow Meghan have and that is: You are criticizing me because I am not white! No, you know, the color of your skin has nothing to do with your words and behavior, it is strange that all these people want to say that the color of their skin is the reason why they do not know manners or cannot treat anyone well. Are she, Meghan and everyone else saying that people who are not white do not know how to communicate with others? I am white but if they are excusing their bad behavior by being colored then I am offended on behalf of everyone I know who is not white but still knows how to communicate with others. Skin color has nothing to do with people's behavior, I would consider such accusations to be racist. My dad was sick for over 9 years and some of these years were such that my dad was so sick that he was sick more or less the whole year. Other years were such that my dad was only sick when he received his medication. Princess Catherine seems to have been very sick and therefore it is natural that she was on sick leave, but it is so true with this woman that Princess Catherine fortunately did not have to worry about finances during the time. Now we do not know what the situation was with this woman's brother, but considering that he does not seem to have been entitled to sick leave, does this probably mean that he has not been in a permanent job when he fell ill? Or maybe it means that he was a contractor and therefore did not have any sick days? But people who have regular jobs have sick days, not just the royal family. And as for King Charles and Prince William making money from the Cancer Society or whatever it was she said, it's because King Charles and Prince William own properties that they rent out to, for example, the ones she mentioned. So King Charles and Prince William get paid rent like everyone else who owns properties and rents them out, so I don't understand why she's bringing that into this when she's pretending to apologize for what she said.
