Awesome car! Engine looks tough as and love the Sigs. But how do you get 408ci out of an LS1? Resleaved block? Wouldn't you have to start with a 6L block? (LS2, L98, LQ9 etc).

This car was originally mine i built 95% of it. The big fella changed the inlet manifold and put a couple of shiny bits on it. Im not sure wat he is talking about but that engine is a 403ci ls1. For the block mate it started life as a cast iron 6lt then went from there.

How is it not? Granted, the bonnet gives it away a little but other than that, you wouldn't know it from any other SS. It's not even that loud! If he painted the 'cooler black, and tried harder to fit it all under a less conspicuous bonnet, you'd never know it wasn't stock. You'd pull up next to it at the lights, think you're top shit and gonna beat a stock SS, then get dusted by a car with 9 sec potential. Definition of a sleeper.

its not the car thats struggling, the driver looks like hes scared of it. look at how he attempts the burnout. he struggles. he truly does look like he is lacking experience. and with an engine like that, i would too, he needs to practice launches and gear changes. does anybody know if the car has a quickshifter installed?

Only taking it easy as the car is no where near finished. I shouldn't even be racing it with Standard cv's and standard tailshaft. Hence the soft launches and piss weak burnout. Car went 137.50mph most cars on the day were running 9.6-9.7 with the same mph

Was pretty piss poor effort however reason being had stock tailshaft rubber donuts stock cv's stock diff and on low very low boost on shit street tyre... So over time it copped bmr 1400hp billet cv's inner and outer stubs arp wheel studs chromoly tailshaft 1350 mark Williams gear And put it on radials first for the time oh and removed the chev grill which was on the car when purchased on 16 psi car weighing in at 1996kg went 9.7@141mph soft launch 1.68 60ft Since that car has ben fitted with cage parachute ai fuel system and now it's gona cop 25-27psi kzbin.info/www/bejne/omOQpIaYhNJlrtE

Yes mate you are correct but the reason its so slow is because 90% driver and that car is actually very hard to get the power to the ground. it makes 608rwkw the way it sits in this video. The boost comes on that hard it is very difficult to get every gear change perfect. I originally built this car for the street and to cruise on weekends. For the strip it definitely needs a hi stall and a auto put behind it.
