The irony being the original micro change version of the blaster toy already had a working FM radio, but when the toy got imported and retooled for the transformers those electronics where removed to make room for Blasters range of cassette-bots.

First off, 100% right on color. Way better aesthetic than the white in my opinion. It's an insane build and I love it. Side note, great music choices and keep jamming up the pump.

I thought this would be just something like a 3d printed enclosure that had a slot for a Bluetooth speaker, but this is so much better. It looks great, and I love how the silver looks. The USB-C adapter was also a great addition. It's 2023... why is the charging port still micro b?

There is such a market for things like this, bringing cartoon/action figure items to functionality and size. If a person knew how to get around or work with the copyrighting issue, I bet a person could pump out things like this and sell them as long as they were affordable and it was profitable.

I think a easy Bluetooth transformer would probably be Soundwave. Probly best in a G1 style and using a smaller more compact speaker, I think it be easer to make than a Bluetooth Twincast/Blaster.

The only recommendation i can think of is have the charging port moved to the side because from behind makes it not the best to have plugged in on the shelf and also acts like a space saver, or get a card that is on a 90.

Considering how actual radios of that era sounded with tiny speakers, this sounds amazing ( Im about 50 so I was there lol) and I wouldve given anything to have a Blaster that could actually play music...you did an amazing job, I cant even FATHOM how you were able to take the original blu tooth speaker apart and get it working again, much less with leds functioning the way they do. Simply amazing

I honestly thought this was a video for the Swittcraft project and I just misremembered what it was. You have done a surprisingly good good job with this functional art piece. I remember the first time I saw someone's custom transforming MP3 soundwave made of kibble and Gundam (Years before Music Label, naturally) and this feels like a much more refined project.

I totally get the desire to put in a functioning tape eject and stuff, but then at what point is just repainting a boombox the right choice vs 3D printing? Definitely a great project. I hope this does become a series, but one so erratic and whimsical that it doesn't even get an official name lol But Lazy Fans will know!

I got this toy second hand when i was a kid, i also had the tape transformer too, but what i didn't know is that the tape transformer could actually go into the tape drawer, because the eject button was stuck.. i have no idea what happened to it.
