I found a corset v similar to the one you found and honestly taking that mesh tulle fabric off the top made it way more wearable and less costume-y! And I definitely agree with changing the side ropes to maybe a white leather or something

I like that too!!! Idk but for someone reason anytime I pick up sheer pieces like that I immediately wanna go a monochrome route and believe it or not but I don’t have a single pink skirt!!! So I think that’s gonna be on the top of my list next time I’m out thrifting🌸

Great haul! I love styling vintage peek-a-boo nightie overlay robes and jackets sometimes with either a very wide obi or corset belt and all black underneath to make it grungy yet flirty I also love styling them with harness belts to pull in some of the volume have an amazing day!!! Love the lavender foam wedge flippies!!

As for styling the cover up, I think you could wear a orange or white bodysuit and then yellow tights over that. or for more coverage, just do a orange bodysuit, yellow tights and then a bodycon skirt over the tights, and then add the cover up on top :)

Ahhhh girl it’s not just dtla it’s all over LA!! I usually commute by bus to get to thrifts around the city. Sucks to say but I usually get the most harassed within my own damn Latin community! Latinos always having the damn audacity making me feel hella uncomfortable and sucks because it only makes us look bad in others eyes. But, crime wise I feel like there’s a lot in dtla just because the unhoused crisis is pretty severe and they go to any lengths for money, food, drugs, etc. but again you’ll find crime throughout LA. I was mugged in ktown and there’s a prevelant gang scene there but all neighborhoods have their share of crime sadly. Upsetting to say but crime is common in a highly populated city😕
