Autosport International 2024 | Was it Worth the Price?

We went on the sunday . wasnt anywere near the show it used to be pre convid , i usualy go and buy a few goodys for the car and racing ect . didnt buy a single thing also seems like the hall that used to have the road going home built show cars / race cars has totally gone alot of big companys that are usualy there promoting there new products were nowere to be seen. Still enjoyed the day but its not a patch on what it was 5 years ago.

I was tempted to go this year, after not having gone for a fair few - only to see the entry ticket and parking price beforehand. By the time you had travelled up from Bristol area and all the associated cost - didn't seem worth it - and that seems to be what most people are saying.

2:05 that was just a TCR Racecar! I went to the show 2 years ago and was done in an hour or so. Looks even more dead now!

I hadn't seen any advertising for the show this year. Didn't even know it was on until the weekend of the show. I'm out of the country, so couldn't get back for it. Looks like a bit of a poor effort this year. It used to be 7 or 8 halls.

£45 a ticket is steep but then to have to pay £20 parking on top? just ripping people off now, you can see what the visitor numbers are down. Surely the organisers should be encouraging attendance of both public and trade and not just seeing it as a moneymaker, which, is what it looks like it is

Same with us. I think this is why it’s died. Spoke to a well known piston brand I know who had a stand. An it was £3000 for the 4 days for basically a 7m x 4m space 🤯

Would explain why there was hardly any home build cars in there . wasn't even any of the racing pickup trucks ect . such a shame , it was a show I used to look forward to every year

The organisers have got greedy with costs for stand space is my thought. Shows at the NEC are getting worse due to costs, The Motorcycle show gets smaller in size every year . I last worked on a stand at Autosport about 5 years ago and it was a great day out then but since has been on a downward spiral

Wow that's mad how that event changed within a day! I went on the Saturday and it was way better than what I just watched in your video, I would of been well gutted too if I went and it was like that (2.5 hour drive).
