Twinkie, what I love about your playing is a form of humility that exudes as you play. I don't know what it is like to work with you but you have a stillness that seems to shine through whenEVER you play the keyboards. Wow! Twinkie's gift runs so deep. The first song she played is a beloved hymn of mine written by the German monk Martin Luther, leader of the Protestant Reformation and founder of the Luther church. The song is called "A Mighty Fortress Is Our God" She is the only person I know that can make a small B3 Hammond sound like a huge pipe organ. She is a God-given talent!

A Mighty Fortress Is Our God is one of my all time favorite hymns. I am used to it being played and sung in the traditional Protestant manner. However, I do love a good Hammond organ and I must say that Twinkie transformed it into the sound it was intended to have.
