Welcome buddy. For the curtain material you can download any fabric materials and edit it in photoshop, make opacity around 20% and save as png file.

Thanks. Just search for any white fabric texture in google. Open it in photoshop, reduce opacity to 30% and save as png file.

great video, tried your settings and it worked. However I am working on my projects and cant seem to find a good settings for a complete interior design of the house (walls, windows, roof) For somereason i have to max out sun intensity in hdri and lighting but still the shadows are too dark.

Thanks. Yes interior scene are more challenging than the exterior scene. Just be sure your scene are well lighted, the best light that could enhance your interior is the environment. That's why some of the interior scene I made, I tend to remove some wall to allow natural lights.

I tried to recreate your animation but having trouble with A. Shelf lighting B. window lighting. Did you use a HDRI? which one. Please share you light settings. I deleted the curtain, couldn't get it ti flow like that.

You can use the same setting from this tutorial for the animation just change the value for aliasing to 2 and firefly value to zero. Use Hdri, change sun intensity to 1 and ambient to 3. Yes for the animation change the curtain to flag asset, rotate it and change material.

Yeah I think path tracer is only supported by RTX.

It can, but you will need at least 6gb of VRAM. I have a 1060 6gb and it freezes up very often unless doing on low settings. To enable you have enable Direct X 12..... to go to Edit->Preferences->Hardware Support, and then select.
