Thanks, I follow most of these. Did not the asset collectors creats an optimized fole though! Good tip. Even so, when doing realistic renders you need lots of grass and hq vegetation which manages to eat up my 12gb card before I'm even done adding alll of them.. TM needs somehow to optimize the vegetation, maybe nanite will help some day but updates are pretty slow I noticed..
@TwinmotionGuru4 ай бұрын
Hello my friend, glad to have been helpful, at least in part! Nanite will come in Twinmotion, don't worry 😁. With respect to updates instead, Twinmotion releases a new version every year, and usually 2/3 updates of the same version, which is not bad. But I agree that we would all like updates every week!

Is there a difference between using the place tool with trees and the paint tool? Which one is less resource-intensive to work with?
@TwinmotionGuruАй бұрын
what place tool do you mean?
@najwanamragea9988Ай бұрын
@@TwinmotionGuru I mean drag and drop, place each object (tree) individually.
@TwinmotionGuruАй бұрын
@@najwanamragea9988 Thank you for elaborating. The main difference is time, manually inserting the trees is time-consuming and depends on how large an area you have to insert the trees into, the paint tool helps you speed up the process a lot. Generally speaking though if the area is large I recommend using the paint tool, if you have to insert few trees then inserting them manually is the solution

These are all gret tips. Thank you. Do you have any thoughts on computer settings and hardware that could also be put into a video? I have a very powerful computer with the i0-149000 processor and an Nvidia 4090 GPU but I am positive that I am not utilizing it all to it's full potential.
@TwinmotionGuru4 ай бұрын
Thanks, glad to have been helpful! Your PC is definitely very powerful, you didn't mark the general RAM, but in general this I always recommend that it be at least 32GB for medium projects, and at least 64GB for larger projects. What makes you think it is not using its full potential?
@TEBInteriorsInc4 ай бұрын
@@TwinmotionGuru OH right, I forgot to add that. I have 64GB of RAM so yeah, this computer is a BEAST. lol. I am very good at using computers and software but if you ask me how a computer works or what all the parts are and how to fix it???? no. no thank you. Hi, thanks for the vid. I've battled for more than a year with SERIOUS instability related to Twinmotion, it gave me anxiety just knowing I had to start a new project and been in the constant hassle of the program just randomly crash an corrupting files. After a very long and tedious troubleshooting I reached a decent compromise but I'm approaching now to a new work of a very big and heavy scene of 7 residential buildings for interior and exterior scenes, animations etc.. so if on top of your mind you could recommend any tip about keeping everything organized and safe I'd be thankful! Plus I can't really understand the function of "Resource collector", is it like the new file that I'll need to be open and work on after being created? Or just some sort of clean backup?
@TwinmotionGuru4 ай бұрын
Hi Joseph, thank you for commenting. The very first thing to consider is the hardware: if you work on big projects you need to have a very good GPU and a lot of RAM. Besides that, when there are large projects I recommend you to split the work on several files (especially for interiors) and render the scenes separately. In addition to this, try to use as much as possible the same materials on common surfaces (same glass on all windows, same plaster on walls, etc.), so as to avoid weighing down the final file. The resource collector is the new file you will be working on because it is lighter and more agile! In any case, a backup every once in a while I always recommend doing it

My brother, the renderer I have for trees and the garden and the shape of my buildings is not realistic, as if a cartoon movie is just colors, and I have a modern MacBook M3 Pro, and it works for me Ultra, but the shape is not realistic. I heard that the program does not support the Apple Silicon system in showing the realistic shape. Is this What you are saying is correct. The path tracer tool is not activated. Does it not support my system or is there a reason to turn it off? Please respond.

Hi, Path Tracer on MAC does not work and I don't think it will ever work. Alternatively, there is the Lumen engine, with which you can greatly increase the realism of your designs!

@@oth3b What you are asking is a very long topic to cover in a comment, the only thing I can recommend is to watch the videos I have made with Lumen and take every possible advantage of them. The other thing is to preregister for the course that I will release by 2024, here is the link www.twinmotionmasterclass.com/pages/coming_soon. Through the course you will be able to render to the best of your ability with the Lumen engine! You don't need to change software (also because for the rendering world on MAC there are none at the level of Twinmotion!)
