The trees also change by season so fall colors and dead in winter along with the movement. The texture randomize is straight from D5s playbook but it's nice to see It here as well. It will be useful for both ground materials and potentially things like fabrics etc.

I think the UV randomization is a bit of a universal thing - I've seen it in Blender, and I think Unreal and Vray as well - definitely helps for those big uninterrupted areas. Overall this is a cool update I think

I’d say that the uv randomisation is straight from Unreal Engine’s playbook, since there’s a material node for cellbombing there and TwinMotion is Unreal Engine under the hood.

Awesome stuff!! So many options and everything looks pretty intuitive! Question for you - is there a way to apply trees to specific shaped areas? I'm thinking of a map with specific trails that the "tree blocks" can be filled with TwinMotion trees. Thanks!

I don't know what the official system requirements are, but with the RTX3070 8GB VRAM I have to be very careful when working on the project, otherwise after reopening there is a chance to see an error related to the lack of video memory.

Meh.. these are just a few old trees from the same pack as those we had. they could have been in the software years ago. They are not very high quality. They are low poly enough to be used as background without hitting performance at least. I think we were all hoping for higher quality ones including more bushes shrubs house plants garden etc..

The release notes says that it's 62 new trees - I've not gone through and done a deep dive, but as far as I know they're completely new to the library, not older content from before.

The line fx fliter has been downgraded. It used to outline every edge but now only outlines contours.
