Hello, good video! congratulations. I have a question, I understand that when working with lumen, importing a sketchup file as geometry, the lighting does not bounce. How do you solve that and work with lumen with a sketchup file and it looks so good with lumen. So I read in a twinmotion patch that when working with lumen it is better to work with direct link or datasmith. I would like how you make Lumen look great working importing geometry with sketchup Thanks!!
@jamzview44975 ай бұрын
Thanks. I imported it as geometry cause I don't have sketch up program but for other program like archicad and 3dsmax I always used datasmith. I don't really know if there is a difference in quality between importing skp geometry or datasmith plug in.

I think that Lumen is a great tool for when you need a preview for how Path-Tracing image will look like Or if you need to make a bunch of renders or a video that look convincing enough and will take little time to render, like for a student project (as I always do) But Path-Tracing is way more realistic, especially when it comes to shadows and it also has some neat interactions with glass that Lumen does not yet (like colored shadows from windows, bumpy glass and frosted glass)
