I've been using twinmotion for 4 years and I still learnt something new from this video. Thanks for sharing this. I never tinkered with the UV setting up there, I basically worked around it or just used another material. . lol

Great tips, thanks for that! Not sure if you already have one, but if not I really recommend getting a 3D spacemouse, its perfect for twinmotion, espeically showing clients, or in you case navigating in the videos! Keep up the GREAT work, im a follower :)

Hi! Is there any other settings that you recommend changing if i can´t use the path tracer? I have a GTX and it´s not compatible with it, but i want to make more realistic renders
@viarender10 ай бұрын
Elina, I do not have a video on that, but the Twinmotion youtube account has some great videos, and this one here :kzbin.info/www/bejne/iqrJZYCdl5uDrrc&ab_channel=ArneVanKeer I found very helpful!

Hi.. Please why when synchronize revit and twinmotion and reopen the files, the textures change to their initial case? Thank u!
@viarender6 ай бұрын
I am not a revit user, but this happens with SU too. The best option right now is not to use the Datasmith Convertor, and try to make sure your model does not need a back and forth workflow. Sorry to bear bad news!

That was fantastically helpful thanks. I have one problem though. TwinMotion 2023.2 Edu on my Mac will not let me enable the DX12 so my images are not rendering! I get .jpegs but they're clunk and horrible like they've just come from ArchiCAD (which they have, after a bit of tinkering). Is there a way around this? My Mac Graphics card is Radeon Pro 555X 2 GB. I expect it's not powerful enough to cope. Thank you.
@viarender10 ай бұрын
I think that you are right. I belive the GPU does not meet the minimum requirements for DX12 (but I am not a Mac user, so there could be other issues). I'll do a video soon on how to render without path tracing, I hope that you find it helpful! Sadly, many rendering softwares (TM and Lumion are the ones that I am most familiar with) do not cater to the broadest user base, as there is a constant push for hardware upgrades.

whats the key for doing quick test renders? i cant quite hear him there
@viarender8 ай бұрын
Two ways to do quick test renders in Tm with the Path Tracer: Hit the Path Tracer button with the settings set to Low, or Export a Render with settings set to Medium. Both ways are faster than putting the settings to Max and waiting for the viewport to resolve (if you render at a lower resolution than your final shot). Side Note: Newer versions of TM allow you to drop the Path Tracer resolution in the Settings tab, and TM will Upscale the viewport image. Its rougher looking, but a good appoximation of the final shot.

Will you make a twinmotion tutorial in Udemy?
@viarender Жыл бұрын
Hi, great question. So, I have been pulling my content from Udemy slowly, and there are alot of reasons for this, but mainly it's great for students, but the effort to create courses versus the return in terms of payments just isnt there.... I do have at leat one 'Build this with me' tutorial purely in TM though: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oXq7Y4huhrd3q7c&ab_channel=ViaRender

When i got my new pc, the technician told me never to sign in Microsoft nor activate windows. It auto updates a lot of things that may affects your workflow
@viarender6 ай бұрын
@@layoutarchitect Honestly, I just keep forgetting to activate it. That’s good advice though, Windows updates can be brutal if they break something (only happened once with me, it messed up some Lumion-GPU thing a few years ago), but it’s a pain.

Check which version of TM you are using, the trial may be limited to 2K export (just my initial thought)
